A recent update to the Amazon HD app seems to have made it better at detecting device capabilities. For example, on my Pixel4 XL it shows "24-bit / 48 KHz" as normal when playing through the speaker, but as soon as I connect my BW PX7's to bluetooth that changes to "24-bit / 96 KHz" and when plugging in a USB-C DAC it changes to "24-bit 192 KHz".
I wonder if that means the Hiby workaround is no longer needed? My only gripe with that is that I can't use the Convolution plugin as all tracks show as 192 KHz in the status bar and it causes pretty bad skipping of the audio when unticking "other sample rate bypass" on the plugin settings, even for 44.1 KHz amazon tracks (does this mean the R6 pro is actually upsampling the amazon tracks?)
