Thanks for the response. I will have to check the card on one of my other players. I am not sure if it is a Hiby thing or my files are not tagged correctly. Do you know of a good tagging program? I have used MusicBrainz Picard, but it constantly crashes.

Thanks, I found a great free tool if anyone is interested. It uses the MusicBrainz Acoustic ID to look up tags, etc. It is called Metatogger.

I got the R6 for few days now, but wondering if it is normal when playing some music the unit is kind of very warm even screen off and not even connected to the power ?

Depends. If you're playing from the regular headphone out (not balanced) and this happens, could be the permissions bug, to be fixed thus:

Hey joe, so... i have this problem where if i unplug my headphones from the SE output the unit still detects as if the headphones were still on, thing wouldn’t be annoying if I only used headphones but I actually use the coax out quite a bit at home and unless the se goes off, it doesn’t change the output to coax or LO... got any help for that one? I think is a physical problem with the physical output itself, i bought my unit back in April or May, piroblem didn’t appear until recently, like 3 weeks from now

I got an other concern the android security patch level is dated from December 2017 I do not expect to get the latest one from this month like on my phone, but 2 and half year old kind of worry me a bit, and definitely wont put any sensitive data on it ,since some of the major vulnerability have not been patched!.

I'll talk to the devs about possibility of updating this but in the meantime I hope it's not necessary to put anything more than your TIDAL, Spotify etc. passwords on your music player

There's a file manager included in the R6 android apps. I like an app called File manager + flashlight +clock.

You have to enable file transfer in the settings.

Thanks, feel pretty stupid... but just getting used to this device... I have another ? Is there anyway to prevent bluetooth from automatically turning itself on? Thanks!

Is there any way to turn the storage into drives like Fiio Does? That's what I meant... I figured out how to add music when I first got it.
