I would say a few turns of a clean plug in the jack will do unless you are having contact problems.

Thank you for putting this information out. I am currently trying to make the decision between the R5g2 and the R4. Leaning more towards the R5 for battery. Could you please kindly post a picture of the sound plugins that the device can currently take after the mentioned update? Also can they be added manually if not available OTA?
