I don’t know about MSC mode. I have a bunch of problems transferring to an android’s SD card from my Mac. I’m sure it’s because of Mac not supporting Android natively or something as a drive. File syncing is a pain. Have a card reader coming tomorrow. Hopefully it’s already formatted as exFAT.

Thank for this info. It’s unfortunate it seems they are using the stock android mixer, resampler, and volume implementation. Do you have any more info on this? Is the bootloader unlocked and ADB available?

Why can I not see "Album Artists" that don't have the Album Artist field filled in? Why can files like these not default to the "artist" tag in this case? I have lots of albums with multiple artists, but also many albums without multiple artists where there is no need to have "album artist" listed

also, spaces are not included in sorting, so like "A Tribe Called Quest" will appear after "Adele" or whatever

This app kinda sucks. Is there any other app that is recommended? I might return the M300 just because of the Hiby App

On the M300 all apps are treated equally, the built in HiBy app does not get special treatment. Feel free to use any app you prefer without worrying about audio quality.

so I have quite a bit of 24 bit 192khz lossless music, are you saying I won't have to worry about the SRC doing anything to my music no matter how I play it on the M300? Thanks

I think it's more like Joe said - "all apps are treated equally". Some apps like Foobar and Neutron use their own resampler, so maybe specifying what the app can play is to alleviate any app specific shenanigans

But also, the M300 system runs on 192kHz, so you are in luck there.

I received the update for that on my M300 today
