To be honest driver size does not directly means better sound quality. But still.

Audio Technica uses 53mm drivers on their full sizes and recently ES10.

Sony XB series? SA5000 uses 50mm driver.

Most electrostatics.

Sennheiser HD800 IIRC have a large ring driver exceeding 50mm.

And the Sony MDR-XB1000 is rocking 70mm drivers.

Forgot to measure my T50 clone when I cleaned the systems, but from sheer looks I'd say it's rather 80mm or so...

The XB1000 are exclusive to japan as of right now they had short run in sony style stores in the us but amazon dose ship them to the us still
