I think on the F1 race there was a driver wearing Beats, in a matter of a week i saw the White beats, the black beats and the red beats

Just a few days after the thread where the guy says people blast music on their cell phones in public, i had a guy on the train blasting his music

And my dad hooks me up with these skullcandy little portable speaker things which i assume are made to encourage this sort of thing!!!! They sound like crud as well, threw them into the goodwill box.

I had my SE215s in and was walking behind another guy.  He holds the door open and the handle snagged the cable of his 215s (or 315s I guess), small world.  The cable on those is much too long.  And the guy with K702s in my Physic's class has the Quincy Jones version.  Aren't those like an extra $100 for no reason besides a colored cable and a "Q" on the side?

Sometimes the Q701 can actually be cheaper than the K701/K702.

I've heard the Q701's were a bit more full bodied on the bass in terms of response and extension, and the highs weren't as bleeding-edge sharp. I should really demo them at Audio Lab sometime. Gotta get a proper amp first.

Otherwise...Saw some WESC Bongos today. A handful of Beats here and there, but once again, Apple Earbuds run rampant here.

I go to school in downtown Toronto and all in all I've seen some Bose (mainly AE2), SR-60s which I was quite shocked at, an incredible amount of beats, at least a couple a day, one  srh240, two 440's. Once I unknowingly sat beside an older man on the subway with 440s while i was wearing my 440s, was quite odd when i noticed we were wearing the same headphones haha, he was too into his classical music to take note however. Skullcandy Aviators, lots of cheap sony's, xb500 once and hd428's once or twice. I bought my girlfriend a pair of dt770's if that counts haha. Way too many beats...

By instrument you mean his midi-controller, correct?

If so, it's the Novation Launchpad. It's pretty awesome, I have one but I got bored of it cause I suck at making music. Probably gonna try to sell it.

At the Millbrae Train station I talked to a guy using Beyer DT770 80 OHM. Tried them out and was fairly impressed as they were going to be my original purchase over the DJ1's I bought. He tried my DJ1's and was surprised by the soundstage. ^-^

TL;DR: Black guy wearing DT 770 80ohm's, we are friends on facebook now.
