Good sightings today. Saw a pair of Denon D2000s and some Shure SRH750DJs.

I saw someone with a pair of HD25-1-II. I was with my friends, one who has a K701, and i said pretty loudly "Hey! Those are HD25 1 II! Those are pretty awesome". Although the guy didn't have the headphones on, he took no notice of us =(

I was genuinely surprised to see an Ultrasone DJ1 PRO, a Grado headphone (I couldn't see the model name) with giant yellow earpads, and a Soul by Ludacris SL150CB today. I saw the Souls and I was thinking "what headphone is so shiny like that?", and when I passed him I saw the "S" on the side and was like "oh..."

Reminds me, has anyone here even tried out the Souls? Don't immediately toss them out just b/c they're celebrity endorsed. I mean, the Q701 is endorsed by Quincy Jones and it, by no means, is bad.

Giant yellow pads ? Sounds like the Sennheiser HD414 pads to me

I saw a pair of upper-class Sennheisers today.  At first I thought it was a 280, but then I thought it might have been one of the 600s.

How in the world could you confuse a 280 with one of the 600s!? It's hard to think of any two headphones that look more different than those :p

The headband and ear cups are roughly the same size and they're both dark...I think they could easily be mistaken for each other depending on the environment...though the sound leak may give the 6xx away. :D

I couldn't remember off hand what the 280s looked like, and he was using them un-amped as far as I could tell.

I finally showed up to my statistics class (after weeks of skipping it) since there was going to be a quick overview of the test coming up and I spotted M50s and K518s. I was surprised these freshmen/sophomores have them. Everyone around campus either has Beats or iBuds.
