They are pretty amazing sounding and good thing some people don't care what they look like to complete random strangers.

I see ath Mxxs so often, I'm tempted to lump them with other common headphones like beats, and cheap sonys.
 
But I saw some ath ws55s today

Today I was wearing my XB700 for out and about and (beside their sound) it is just their design what I like. Ridiculous ... who cares? IMHO they look lovely.

martinq I think I was being harsh before, the last person I saw wearing them had a [smallish] skin head, which emphasised their size...

Saw a reasonably good looking pair of Denon wireless/bluetooth headphones today - on the blue line coming to work. Silver/brown AH-NCW500. I have a pathalogical dislike of both bluetooth and noise cancelling phones, but they were attractive, and a new one to me.
