Ok, I've never seen anything I recognized other than stuff I would never use now that my ears know better.

Once I saw an elderly gentleman with a pair of SE530 on the bus. He was using an iPod Video (not sure iModded or not), with a non-ALO LOD into a small black amp. Ladies and gentlecars this is Quebec City that we are talking about.

This is why I created my "Proof that the average consumer is deaf" thread. Because it's true.

Well I actually saw a pair of B&W P5s today which was a bit out of the ordinary. That brings the total to two SR60s, two M50s, P5, and a cute girl with a pair of HD201s.

When ever I hear some one say Bose/Skullcandy/Beats are the "best" I simply say "Bet you can't find any professional audio engineer/producer use any of those in the studio". That usually shut them up quite quickly.

So far on campus (UBC) I've seen a couple m50s, a Shure 530 and srh840, an IE8, an ATH A700, and a girl using a Cowon S9...with ipod buds. Minus the ipod buds, I'm pretty impressed.

Pic most definitely needed.

Don't you wish.

If I remember I'll see if I can snag a pic but I doubt I'm that sneaky. I really should just probably strike up a conversation with her. I see her everywhere on campus.

It's worth finding out if he really is a stranger if you asked me
I wouldn't consider a head-fi'er a stranger, more like a long lost relative

Also there's no idea whether he's a Head-Fi'er... I mean it's Quebec City. I'd say less than 5 people who go to Head-Fi (going to Head-Fi and being a Head-Fi'er are two different things. Wink.)
