That’s awesome! I’ve met some of the people from iFi before and found them helpful and knowledgeable… even if the Air products (including Zen Air Stream) don’t make it, maybe I can pick his brain for some insights and info I can put into a product review, since I signed up for the Air review tour.
I wasn't aware that they were releasing a Zen Air Stream. But we will have the Zen Stream (and hopefully the more expensive NEO Stream if it arrives in time). Mike has one and I'll have mine there aswell as an endpoint for Roon. We'll also have the Zen Can and DAC V2 as well as the iFi GO and the Gryphon.

DCS Lina had arrived!

Can also confirm that we will have the iFi NEO Stream in house.

Is DIY gear welcome? This is a two hour drive for me, so I could make it unless something comes up last minute.

I would probably bring my DIY OTL, my DIY NOS R2R tube DAC, another boutique NOS R2R DAC, the Audial S5. For headphones, I could bring the ZMF Atrium and ZMF Vérité Closed. Unfortunately, the amp I am planning to release as a DIY project is on a road trip or I would bring that too.

Hi L0rdGwyn

Of course! We'd didn't be interested to see some diy gear.

Interested to see what people think of my monstrosities :gs1000smile: people are welcome to try my ZMFs on other gear too of course.

I also have a Beyer DT 1990 Pro somewhere if anyone would like me to bring it along.

I'd like to hear the 1990 against my 177X Go. I have the fenestrated pads for those, I'll bring them along as they would fit the 1990.

So, tomorrow is the day, I'm getting excited!

Heading out to help with the setup now. Hoping to have a little preview of the Lina and the CRBN tonight. In the spirit of making sure they work for everyone tomorrow! 😁

If you have questions, post here or PM me, I'll be checking in regularly tonight and tomorrow. Alternatively, call Stereo Stereo, Mike will be able to get hold of me.

Again, if you want your own playlist setup, pm the list prior to 8pm tonight, I'll try and get them setup for you. I'll just use your name on here to identify them.

No worries, I will bring them!

I am probably going to just stream TIDAL off my laptop of that's okay.

What would be the best way to bring a local library to listen to on the equipment? I have all my flacs on my dap/sd card so I could just bring those alone but I wanted to make sure it was ok to hook those into the equipment at the meet up

Obviously you can bring your DAP and if you have music on an SD card, if you have a USB adaptor, I think that the Zen Stream, the NEO Stream and the Bluesound devices will allow you to plug in a USB key. I'm not sure about the DCS devices.

Or bring your laptop.

Navigation might not up to the same standard as Roon as you are using the inbuilt apps. Mike is setup with both Tidal and Qobuz, so I would say that unless you have some really rare stuff, it should be available. We have tried hard to make sure that we have endpoints available for everyone.

We won't allow plugging in to the Roon core, we will need it running solely for streaming to multiple end points and can't have it scanning for content.

In the same vane, we are going to request that you do not activate DSP and upsampling within the Roon app as these are processor intensive. If a little later in the day we are winding down, we might have some time to play with that, it depends on how busy we get.
