The DC adapter will work on 90-264V. You may have to use a plug adapter for your country

Justin,

Appreciate your response. However you misunderstood the question. I was asking whether we are able to use any other 12V DC adaptor aside from the one supplied for the Pico? If not, I would like to know why - is there a charging circuit inside the supplied adaptor?

Thanks in advance!

I got a shipping confirmation via email.
My unit cleared customs yesterday morning so it should hopefully get delivered today. I can't wait until I get home from work

Thanks, rippingdragon.
What we found is that the shipping is not done by the numbering order.
I haven't have neither delivery nor confirmation as of today.
Only I can do is enjoy waiting.

My recommendation would be that unless you can either ask justin about a very specific power supply that you want to use or know a fair bit about electronics in general you're best sticking with the stock supply. Not all 12VDC wallwarts are created equal.

The Pico is protected against using the wrong DC adapters so it will be fine. The adapter needs to be 12V center-positive, better if its regulated
