I'm number 387 international and mine was posted June 11th. Still waiting for it though.... it sucks being so far away....

Justin or anyone else,

If we misplace or damage the supplied wall adaptor, can we use any other 12VDC regulated ones or only the original type? The instruction manual seems to indicate that we can only use the supplied one. Why? Is there a charging circuit in the adaptor?

Thanks,
cansman

Hi
Hope I didn't come here to late
wink.gif

So
Is there a way to connect this thing to the electricity here in Israel? (220V)
Also
Can this amp drive even headphones like Grado Gs1000 or the Denon 5000 ?
And
USB, does it mean it baypass the computer soundcard ?

Any way, I will probably need a black one with the DAC with a nice usb cable of 3 feet.
Can it be done?
And how much time does it take to make it ?
Thank you!

How did you know the date shipped?

I assume that you can get that information through the Google Checkout page...although my payment was received on the ninth and the status hasn't changed since...

I bought mine used from a US head-fi'er, so my adapter had an american plug (i'm in australia), so I bought a new 12VDC regulated supply for my Pico with the australian plug. So far its worked fine.

Although if Justin could chime in as to any potential hazards in doing this when he next checks the thread that would be helpful too

The adapter that comes with the unit is 110-240V, and I believe Justin will be able to supply one with the correct plug type for your location.

It will drive anything short of a K1000. Whether or not it drives them to maximum potential is another question, but I use mine with a 300Ohm HD600 and find it does a marvelous job.

With the Pico connected via USB the computer will have two audio output devices, the soundcard and the Pico, which shows up under 'USB DAC'. All you need to do is tell your music playback software (Foobar, Winamp, etc) to use the USB DAC to play through the Pico and not your soundcard. You can even use them both simultaneously, with two seperate audio streams, such as music through the Pico and a movie through the soundcard.

Does Justin check the thread?
i have posted here 3 times stating interest and emailed him direct(3 times) but to no response with either method!
really fancy one of these lil amps but customer service is nothing short of shocking if cant even answer a simple email.
sorry but just rude not to even acknowledge someones messages.
had no problems from Hans when buying i-qube.... in fact done me deal on batteries and LOD upgrade.
service also 100% when dealing with Ray at RSA so those guys know how it should be done!! noone and i mean noone has a product that good that they can get away with ignoring potential customers!!

you can estimate it by adding 2 per day since the last list update. As of right now, up to #400 have been shipped. #401-500 are in the process of being built. The next list update will also be with payment requests for #501-600

I got a shipping confirmation via email.
My unit cleared customs yesterday morning so it should hopefully get delivered today. I can't wait until I get home from work
