I am looking for a desktop amp and my computer will be the source. Which one do you think is the best as I can get them both for about the same price. My headphones are Ultrasone Ed 8, Denon 7000's, AKG Q701's, and HD-800's. Also looking for a high end Grado, I miss my GS1000's.

Also which is th e best way to connect the MacBook Pro to the Amp/DAC? I have an M2Tech HiFace, USB, and I have an optical output via TosLink.

Thanks,

Shane

Generally Burson is more known and regarded here, and you have the right matches for it (Akg, sennhs. denon) there are members which have similar setups...and also one of my favorites 160D > HD800's

I have tried with USB and it works great.
