Yep, just wanted to buy them. Can you please explain further? Any photos and size advice would be appreciated.IMO the newer Max TWS 6 are better then the Max AMSR.
Eartip Model | Stem Type / Fit | Material | Sound Profile | Best For | Notes |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Max TWS 6 | Very short / shallow | Medical-grade silicone | Balanced, tight seal, rich bass | TWS users needing max comfort & seal | Tapered inner bore to reduce pressure in-ear |
Max TWS | Short / shallow | Medical-grade silicone | Balanced with strong seal | Most TWS earbuds | Similar to Max TWS 6, slightly longer stem |
Max Standard | Long / deep | Medical-grade silicone | Same as above | IEMs or buds with deeper nozzle | Longer stem than TWS version |
Max ASMR | Medium / deep | Medical-grade silicone | Warm mids, intimate vocals | ASMR, vocal-focused listening | Deeper fit, brings sound closer to eardrum |
Crystal | Short / shallow | Liquid silicone | Airy, open, treble-enhanced | Bright sound lovers, detail retrieval | Slightly tackier, may attract dust |
Xelastec | Medium / adaptive | Thermo-reactive elastomer | Neutral-bright, smooth highs | Clarity with comfort | Softens with heat, very grippy |
Foamax | Medium / foam hybrid | Foam + silicone | Isolated, warm, soft sound | Noise isolation, long listening sessions | No pressure buildup, foam comfort + silicone base |
Air 5 Pro is newest model not the flagship, you are correct.I'm getting very confused by Soundpeats.
He says these are the latest flagship from them, but in terms of drivers used and price, surely their Capsule 3 pro+ is their flagship?
The other thing that's confusing me is their price for specs. They seem very cheap for the excellent specs. The Capsule 3 pro +, for example, really does tick all my boxes on specs. All reviews suggest that battery life is their only weak point, and that's not a deal breaker at all for my particular use case.
I suppose the only way I'm going to find out if they really are too good to be true for the price is by using them. My Capsule 3 Pro + should arrive in the next couple of days, so we'll see.
What would the Air 5 Pro+ have over the Capsule 3 Pro+ ?Air 5 Pro is newest model not the flagship, you are correct.
Air 5 Pro+ will be the flagship if they come out.
Very interested in those.
Kinda but the problem is the shallow fit which doesn't help buds like the jbl tour pro 3IMO the newer Max TWS 6 are better then the Max AMSR.
I had the AKG N5 Hybrids and they are the same style as those and no ear tips got me to pass the built in seal test other than the largest of the included ear tips and my Azla SednaEarfit Crystal for TWS (not the standard model).Kinda but the problem is the shallow fit which doesn't help buds like the jbl tour pro 3

I had a really good passive seal, the ANC was really good and they did not move even though they were very shallow fitting they were solid to touch they do not seem to suit deeper ear tips.

Another glowing SoundPeats review:
I find it quite sad that you rarely see a negative youtube review of any audio product these days.when is xMEMS![]()
That is indeed/sadly the current state of reviews, not only on YT imo. Bought 4 mid-tier Hi-Fi (not Head-Fi) products in recent weeks, of which I had to return 3 simply because of obvious shortcomings that were not mentioned in the (hundreds of) reviews I read/viewed. Even worse: the use of ambiguous language to mask certain flaws. Guess likes & subscriptions are more important for many reviewers.I find it quite sad that you rarely see a negative youtube review of any audio product these days.
Not saying they are no good, btw, just that I take every review with a large pinch of salt.
Edit: meant to reply to the post with the video review in.
