Can the Samsung store the EQ settings back to the earphones? know Sennheiser can do this, which is a big plus for me…
I see the new Samsung’s at Walmart now…
I just tested this on my Galaxy Buds3 (non-pro version) for you and can confirm the EQ is stored on the Buds. I created a random custom EQ on my Fold 5, paired my Buds3 to a Pixel 7 Pro after installing the Wearables app on my Pixel 7 Pro and confirmed the same custom EQ is shown in the Wearable app on the Pixel 7 Pro.
FYI - I think this is more the norm now and the ability to store EQ onboard is probably expected (at least for me) as opposed to a unique feature. All of my TWS (or over-ear bluetooth headphones) that have EQ store the EQ onboard (i.e. you don't need to install the app on every device to use the EQ).
Hello, I'm looking at getting a TWS iem for work. I have tried the Hifiman Svanar, Noble Fokus Prestige but I ain't going to spend that much on a iem and risk getting saw dust, paint, oils, silicone etc on them. Anyways, I have a Thieaudio Prestige LTD for more serious listening. So im on a budget. But I want to get the most bang for the buck possible and am open to options. So far, my eyes are on the Alpha & Delta KS100 hybrid. Reviews seem highly positive, and with good eartips and a little eq. They can sound truly insane for the price, some have said they surpass the Hifiman Svanar JR and get close to the Svanar LE. How true is that info, I'm not sure. But tone deaf monk is a reviewer I trust, he seems to be very impressed by them. Anyways, is there any other iems that could be recd? I don't need anything fancy. Good connection, great sound, comfy and if it can have a decent to good mic. I'm happy.
Edit.
Just made an order for the Alpha & Delta KS100 Hybrid. Will post impressions once recieved.
I don't know if you can classify them as IEMs but I always see recommendations for Jabras as all around workhorses that have solid connections and decent sound quality (although I'm not so sure on how good their EQ in the app is).
Managed to order the new EarFun Air Pro 4 from Amazon UK using the link I posted previously using the "See More Buying Options", will be here on 3rd Aug.
Can you provide some short feedback on this TWS. I love the N400 so much that I bought 3 pairs and have the entire lineup of Samsung Galaxy Buds except the latest ones where Samsung seems to have lost their uniqueness in design and not to forget the plethora of QC problems (had to cancel preorder).
This has created a vaccum for me and I wonder whether N5 Hybrid would fill it up. Not worried about ANC, just sound quality compared to other TWS sets (hope you have Samsung ones and N400 to compare).
I dont know if this will ever release in USA given Samsung wants their flagship to sell. So, my options range from MTMT Audio and Accessory Jack at this point. If you have specific store recommendations (given you are in US too) for purchasing this TWS, please share that if you can. Much appreciated !

What over ear BT headphones with ANC are the closest to Technics AZ80 in terms of sound I can get?
The folder I am the more I struggle with getting a proper seal, I got tired with tip rolling and its impact on sound. I think it's time to go back to headphones on the go.
What can you recommend? I respect a Good ANC to be abke to listen quieter, but let's say SQ/ANC ratio should be rather 60/40.

I ended up trying the KZ Xtra. Pretty good, as well rounded as the Melomania Touch I had lacking some of the warmth in comparison. However, my left ear bud died on me within a week, even tried doing the factory reset process and all of that with no luck in recovering their functionality. So now I'm trying to return them. Debating on hunting some more or just bite the bullet and go with the new Melomania M100.
The Melomania M100 were a very flawed product at at launch (I personally found this and a few reviewers said the same), not sure if newer FW updates fixed the issues.
yeah. I will have to find out about phone call quality on my own, I asked two people that have these but got no response, unless they didn't quote me. That, with good SQ, and these features, I'll be happy.
The call quality on the N5 is good, but it could be a little louder, and I haven't found a way to increase it. That said, the music volume is loud enough.
