That Earfun Pro 4 is looking good. I think it the first TWS I have seen that does LDAC and APTx Adaptive which shows full support for pretty much all Android phones.

Right not adaptive, lossless. So darn many APTx combos... lol

The Melomania M100 were a very flawed product at at launch (I personally found this and a few reviewers said the same), not sure if newer FW updates fixed the issues.
Aw man that's unfortunate to hear. It's still up in the air what I'm going to do. At least I have some time to do some more research. Pretty lame that I have to wait about a week or so to get this returned through Amazon and get my refund.

So, I've gotten my Linkbuds S, and I've been told that I can be heard well through it's mic. So, I get why my $20 p20i won't cut it for mic quality.

I think the Linbuds S is a great deal for what you get. Highly recommended! This is the TWS I was looking for.

I'm thinking the future of mic quality is AI ambient noise reduction. You know, gaming GPU's using it for upscaling, why not noise cancellation? Only thing I don't like the mic thud I get when I'm running with ANC on.

My guess is that Linkbuds S was Sony WF-1000XM4.5

The highest physical noise isolation already exists in form of... well just that, isolation.

A pair of COMPLY P-Type on an isolating IEM, thats as good as it gets.

Wow, I can't believe I forgot about the SE846. I remember switching from the EarSonics SM64 and spending a lot of money at that time on the 1st Gen SE846. The 1st Gen SE846 stands out as the IEM that I sold the fastest and regretted buying the most.

Its an Monitor with an typical Monitor sound^^ the cool thing is that you can switch between sound signatures and so you can use it as an stage monitor but also as an studio monitor. With the 2 Gen the added an filter for "Audiophile Listening" that is based on the neutral filter but has treble extension so everything sounds a bit more detailed/wide/open. But its still an Monitor, yes. You can change the signature a bit, but all signatures are variants of monitor tunings.

But COMPLY P Type can be used with a lot of IEM, all of the SE Series, the Aonic Seires but a lot of non Shure IEM like the Westone Pro X Series, the Mach Series and some others.

Everything that has an 100-size nozzle can fit P Type Earpieces.

Have you heard of the noise reduction on calling with the galaxy buds 3 pro? It is mind blowing.

Nope, I do not want to know at this point since the price. I won't feel good about myself spending that much TWS. Linkbuds was really enticing due to the refurbished pricing. It was like $60 and I really like it so far. I never really liked past Samsung earphones. Sony XM5 is decent, but I generally like Bose TWS SQ for music. But, there are compromises since mic quality is very very important to me!

Let me know when this dude compares them, and if better than Hauwei.

We need better and better mic quality tests. God, that Hauwei, it sounds so sexy!

Actually, one thing I overlooked is a rechargeable wireless BT device. I can use that and use wired with a good mic. Since I want the inline mic quality.

Anybody know of a good one? I'm trying to figure out a solution to get the best mic quality possible.

EarFun Air Pro 4 arrived, very good sound, not so good passive seal for me so far (testing my own tips) so lose some ANC not ideal to see if ANC is really good or not but I have had better passive NC and ANC before on more than one set of earbuds.

No way to tell if Lossless is active or not, do not even get any banners for aptX Adaptive or/and Snapdragon Sound unlike all my other earbuds that supports it.

A lot of the settings when changed require the earbuds to reboot can be PIA but at least unlike Sennheiser you do not need to put them back in the case to do so.

You cannot have LDAC active along with Multipoint (enabled by default), not sure if I disable that can I enabled LDAC along with all aptX Flavours as for now its disabled but will try later.

Yep, lots of people didn’t see a reason to upgrade 👍
