Not sure why but I get Liberty 4NC vibes. That said I really enjoy those.EarFun Air Pro 4 arrived, very good sound, not so good passive seal for me so far (testing my own tips) so lose some ANC not ideal to see if ANC is really good or not but I have had better passive NC and ANC before on more than one set of earbuds.
No way to tell if Lossless is active or not, do not even get any banners for aptX Adaptive or/and Snapdragon Sound unlike all my other earbuds that supports it.
A lot of the settings when changed require the earbuds to reboot can be PIA but at least unlike Sennheiser you do not need to put them back in the case to do so.
You cannot have LDAC active along with Multipoint (enabled by default), not sure if I disable that can I enabled LDAC along with all aptX Flavours as for now its disabled but will try later.

I got an email but they won't let me order from the website. They just keep offering to let me put in my email address to get a discount and complain I am malicious when I do it again. But these do look very good and the Scarbir review sounded good.
Notice much difference in sound going from the default codecs to LDAC? If not might not be worth the trade offs...

Not tried LDAC yet and battery just ran out on L bud and R bud has 10% left so that is 10mins now so lets see how close they are which is not bad for first charge cycle from factory.
EDIT: R bud died 12mins after L bud, time to do my first full 100% charge.
Samsung for you correct (not even aptX?), if so I will try AAC/SBC/LDAC later.

Cool, just popped in my MTW4 after a few days rest as after 3 weeks of use my ears were a mess.
L bud 90% R / bud 100% / Case 60% so both buds should be 100%< this is one of the issues I and others had with the MTW3 so could be the start of battery issues.

A lot of recent earbuds have 2 connections to PC, I assume the 2nd is LE.
This is the phone playing music but you can see it is also connected to the PC via the BT-W5 Dongle and a 3rd connection to the PC's onboard Intel BT but not the one that plays audio as it is above it and not connected (you can see the battery read out last time it checked).
The LDAC I promised you (they still connect to PC via LE at same time).

Seems near same sound but had to use UAPP as PowerAmp due to Android 14 (poop) was going like this > 96>48>96.
In Windows they cannot do 24/96 (900/990) sitting right at PC as it was stuttering like crazy, the App does say 2m distance for LDAC at Max settings (kind of BS overall for all my LDAC devices as they work).
EDIT: Just tried on FiiO BTA30 PRO, a total mess sitting right at PC even at 16/44.1 so not sure if earbuds of devices causing this, LDAC works best on my phone but I feel it was tacked on as an afterthought.
EDIT 2: Managed to get the aptX Adaptive and Snapdragon Sound banners to appear, you need be fast to catch it.
EDIT 3: Cannot get LE Audio to work with phone, App states there is known issues and list a few phones it works with including Samsung Galaxy and Pixel.
And for Lossless there is no way to see if it is being used, only the MTW4 can do so via their App, would need that FlooGoo Dongle to be sure or the soon to be released BT-W6.

Sennheiser are a messy with their software / QC right nowCool, just popped in my MTW4 after a few days rest as after 3 weeks of use my ears were a mess.

I got fed up of the audio quality dropping all the time on the MTW4's i got as a replacement for a battery failed on MTW3's after about 7 months.
So i setup another warranty return on the 4's for the connection + ANC dropouts (which are super bad)
I hadn't even gotten around to actually sending them back yet -- i had the label and packed them up but hadn't had time to go to a UPS drop-off point.
Got an email couple days ago thanking me for sending them in and they would get back to me ---- got a UPS shipping email and the replacement MTW4's are on their way despite me having the box of the original set sat next to my desk!?!?
Not so fat head

It’s probably better to send you a replacement quickly, before you ask for your refund.. All these things are made in a couple mega-factories in China. They put out 10’s of thousands a day, maybe over 100k a day…. At one time WD was putting out over 200k disk drives per day, and probably still do!!Sennheiser are a messy with their software / QC right now

It's just pretty bad that a company such as sennheiser cannot produce a stable / well tested product when companies like Anker (Soundcore) or Earfun are smashing them with products 1/3rd the priceIt’s probably better to send you a replacement quickly, before you ask for your refund.. Samsung also struggling as they recalled the GB3Pro due to quality control issues. You would think the big players would get it right. But apparently not...It's just pretty bad that a company such as sennheiser cannot produce a stable / well tested product when companies like Anker (Soundcore) or Earfun are smashing them with products 1/3rd the price
Tried a pair of the GB3Pro in a store today. No music just wanted to see how they fit. Sure hope the large tips are OK because these looked like they were medium and were way to small for my ears...
