Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

MOB has uploaded his Jabra 10 video and I agree with his findings on ANC/Isolation. I don't think you can compete at that price point with that kind of performance.

I have the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC coming in tomorrow, in time for a long train trip!

Does anyone know what is going on with the fokus prestige? Is it backordered or just not out yet?
I’ve seen them available on audio46. I see they say back ordered right now, but they’ve definitely had them. I think they only get like one pair of each color at a time. I bet if you reached out they’d find out how to get you a set.

@helmutcheese whats the best dongle available? Do any dongles support LDAC?
almost all my dongles do support LDAC and offer the nearest sound quality in this mode compared to USB-C plugged mode:
ES100 MKII, Qudelix5K, iFi go Blu, BTR7, MUB1, UP4 2022, ....
For me MUB1 and BTR7 are the most convincing with good IEMs or even Headphones for MUB1 with 2x1W..
Any other dongle with proper IEMs are still better than any of the LDAC/SSC TWS I own (1000XM5, AZ80, Buds2 Pro, Liberty 4).

But for convenience any TWS are still far ahead for outdoor use.. even good BT headphone like A800 are more convenient than any dongle with the most impressive outdoor Noise Cancelling.

Well @erockg made me buy an iPhone and I'd like to have some hi res codecs available. What's your pick? My Svanar do LDAC so that's a must.

Good review. I actually think the sound quality is better than he thought. He is hung up on the codec instead of the music.

The NC have really good battery life.

They are more DAC/AMPS not smaller USB Dongles like the KB9P & BT-W5 etc (all aptX Adaptive),

Unless you can find one on AliExpress the above is the only way to go as I used the FiiO BTA30 PRO before Windows got LDAC using the Alt Driver from BlueToothGoodies.

Yes I was going to comment about the SQ vs Codec situation, AAC is perfectly fine for music on the move and will not spoil the original SQ of earbuds.

Here is a great song to show case why I enjoy the Jabra Elite 10 so much. If you have a better streaming service (I use Amazon music myself) it will be be better than youtube.

On My other TWS this album still sounds awesome but you just don't get the same left/right up down panning of instruments and crazy positional queues.

EDIT: turn off all spatial audio in the Jabra and on your phone. Just enjoy this the way the artists recorded it.

Amazon has a 1997 version that has 4 different versions of the song/album each with a different flavor and feel.
