Awesome! How is it using LDAC? Any improvement over just AAC? How it for details and dynamic sound? If you have TWS to compare how does it compare to what you own or know?

I owned the older Live Pro 2 and Live Free 2 and while I liked them I found them to lack a bit in detail and dynamics.

After that, how do you like the screen case, find it useful or gimmicky? How is ANC and ambient compared to other TWS you have owned?
I still need to test more in regard to sound. But at first I'm not hearing much difference from the live pro 2. I've not enabled ldac yet but will and run tests. (enabling ldac causes some useful features to be disabled like dynamic low volume eq)

The biggest improvemrnt I can see so far from the live pro 2 is ambient mode. It's generally useful and very well implemented here.
You get single tap to switch between anc and transparency and it works fast.
But u also get a double tap to switch to talk through mode which is a very natural transparency mode that allows you to have a conversation.

There is also speak to chat which so far works well but again I'm still pretty early with these so need to test them out more.

O there is also a whisper mode... Which u can take a earbud out and talk through the mic quietly to have conversations in privately.

Other earbuds I have to hand to compare against are the LG t90s, jabra elite 10, Sony wf-1000xm5, Huawei freebuds pro 3.

My one negative as I land in NY is the the Bose anc on the ultras beat the Sony. Sad but true. Unless I’m doing something wrong. Seal is great.
Not a Bose dude, but I don't doubt that at all. I found some Comply tips from years gone by, tried them surprised they are okay with the XM5. YOu still using the Azla foams?

Ah, missed that, thought he meant buds. I’m still on LA time. My XM5 case does drain. But the pros out weigh the cons. Thankfully, I bring way too many battery packs for charging when travelling.
My case drains fast, but not my buds. I've been experimenting with EQ again, just for kicks and grins. With the EQ tweaks, the sound quality is coming around. I'm surprised I am getting along with the XM5 this time as well as I am. They are not the best available, but they are feature-rich if you fully utilize the app. It makes them a jack-of-all-trades and a top all-arounder IMO. For the 129.00 price I paid, a definite great buy. Somehow, my TWS collection is growing again. I purchased all of my TWS at great prices so it would be hard to part with them.
I’m noticing the same and it bothers me to the point I’m not sure if something is wrong.
I got them fully charged, used them in the office for a couple of hours at the most and at the end of the day the case is at 82%… makes no sense.
My return window is closing next week. I’m leaning towards keeping them just because the price was right but I’m not in love. Never even had the honeymoon period.
The other option is to downgrade to the XM4 but the bud size concerns me and the issue with the battery drainage too.
My third time with them is the charm. Could I do without them, yes. Do I want to keep them, yes. Correct tips, fully utilizing app, insert and twist and EQ have all made these better. Knowing that sound quality is my #1 important thing with TWS, these are coming along, both times owning them before they were mediocre.

Just ordered the JBL live buds 3. Let's see what they've got to offer besides a pretty face.

That mostly confirms my suspicion about the driver, thanks.it will be interesting when you try LDAC.

Forgot about the low volume EQ. Is it enjoyable? I mostly listen at lower volumes.

Ambient sounds interesting to.

Any idea on how it handles wind?

Yes I think the low volume EQ option works really well. It very clearly boosts the highs (maybe a little too much), but I'm happy with it.

Regarding wind there isn't anything specific in the app that suggests there is any special wind noise cancellation mode and with my brief testing I've not noticed any wind noise reduction kicking in either sadly.

Here are some app screenshots

Hi,

Can someone please advise what the differences are between the Noble FoKus Triumph and the Mystique's?

I own the Mystique's and they're probably my best TWS currently. But they are pants at wind and ANC.

Also own the Final Audio ZE8000 MKII which sounds amazing but I find the fit very hit and miss. Sometimes work great other times problematic.

Been seriously complemplating getting the Sennheiser MW4 for better ANC but I must admit the prospect of Noble besting the Mystique's is pretty tempting. Or should I be looking at the Prestige's instead?

Cheers,
Alan

Looking for inexpensive, heavy rain proof, iems, mainly for listening to podcasts on long walks, so sound quality doesn't need to be top notch.

I use them with a dap, so call quality or mic quality is a none issue.

I keep dithering on buying. Latest one I looked at were the earfun airs, approx £25 on Amazon.

Currently I just use cheap iems, cca cra / 7hz zeros...that kind of thing that if they get water damaged it's not end of the world. I live in the UK, so rain is not uncommon.

I have the "fear of missing out"I think. Am I missing out ?

Recommendations?

Think the Rose Technics Ceramics are 40% off right now. Good deal, good DLC driver and a solid amp and one of the sound modes will match your DAP best most likely Hifi mode. Small case, good battery life and solid build and fit. Just might need even better tips but that will be the case with most every budget TWS.

Walking into Audio46 for the first time is overwhelming. Sad that there aren’t many stores that carry a plethora of incredible inventory like their store. Thanks to them, I ordered an open box Triumph for pickup. Glad to have them back 🤘.

I look forward to you Aviot/Triumph A/B comparison!

I'm pretty much thinking about ordering the Triumph, but I will wait for your post.

I’ll have to get back to you on that. I’ll try and do some comparisons while I am traveling. Both definitely have their pros and cons.

I have both on the way. Te zx1 should arrive today. Triumph arrival date is a mystery. July sometime?

Managed to audition the Denon Perl Pro in Germany during travelling and was pretty happy with them coming from the Buds Pro.
Prior to this I was pretty set on the Aviot ZX1 PNK after reading all the feedback here, but because the shop had a DPP returned unit selling for EUR199 with 5 years warranty, I felt it was worth the jump. So far I am really liking the bass and it suites the type of songs I listen to. There is slam yet feels controlled. And I can get the wide soundstage people are saying bout the DPPs it really feels very wide, and I felt the imaging was good too. But if there is one gripe I feel vocals seem slightly veiled.

I look forward to trying the ZX1 PNK and Triumph some day but this should suffice until then.

I’ve only ordered online and have had good experiences with them. Next time I’m in NYC, I’m definitely checking out their store in person.

What genres do you listen to so I can get an idea if these might work for me.
