I’ve only ordered online and have had good experiences with them. Next time I’m in NYC, I’m definitely checking out their store in person.

What genres do you listen to so I can get an idea if these might work for me.
I mainly listen to classic rock, melodic dubstep/future bass/EDM and various pop

I know you didn’t ask me, but I just picked up my DPP for the second go-round today. I agree with the sentiments of @daijoubu86 except I don’t find vocals veiled at all, but to each one’s ears.

I listen to a fairly wide variety of popular songs, and some rock, folk and jazz. For example I listen to 90’s electronic all the way up to today. My favourite rock band is The Tragically Hip. I also enjoy listening to Mark Knopfler, Adele, Diana Krall and Miles Davis. Hope that helps.

I’ll have to get back to you on that. I’ll try and do some comparisons while I am traveling. Both definitely have their pros and cons.
Oh, you don't have to do any in-depth comparison.

Right now, Triumph is on my mind. Just consider when you can in which circumstance would you choose the Aviot.. I think I would be pleased with either, but $30 does matter to me. I can get Triumph for $30 cheaper overall.

Managed to audition the Denon Perl Pro in Germany during travelling and was pretty happy with them coming from the Buds Pro.
Prior to this I was pretty set on the Aviot ZX1 PNK after reading all the feedback here, but because the shop had a DPP returned unit selling for EUR199 with 5 years warranty, I felt it was worth the jump. So far I am really liking the bass and it suites the type of songs I listen to. There is slam yet feels controlled. And I can get the wide soundstage people are saying bout the DPPs it really feels very wide, and I felt the imaging was good too. But if there is one gripe I feel vocals seem slightly veiled.

I look forward to trying the ZX1 PNK and Triumph some day but this should suffice until then.
The only thing that make the DPP harder to recommend is because of the fit.

It is a musical TWS with great bass.

Yeah the fit can be hit or miss but I think it was better for me with the foam tips. I'll give some spinfits a try too.
To be fair, this is applicable to all earbuds. The Galaxy Buds Pro fit me like a glove, but the Buds 2 Pro won't stay on. So far I find the DPP to fit as well as the Buds Pro, if not slightly better. It is however huge.

It's this shop: hifiklubben.de
Check them out, they have plenty of top range earbuds for testing and have plenty of outlets throughout Germany. I was in their Cologne and Frankfurt shops.
If you don't live there you might be able to claim VAT back too but you'll need to have Custom's stamp when flying out of Germany.

Perfect! I listen to the same genres as you!

That definitely helps, thank you! The DPPs look intriguing so I might have to order and hear them myself.
