Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Please, could someone check the frequencies 20-25 Hz in Triumphs? Can you hear them?

Any suggestions for a true wireless IEM that has a character like my Focal Clear and Focal Bathys? ANC is OK, but not necessary. I don't care about microphone use. LDAC and aptX-Adaptive or HD are necessary.

Something better than my Sony XM4.

Having just let my set go, I would offer 2 observations.

1. They have the best resolution I have heard in a tws. They are just super clear, comparatively.

2. The tuning is pretty lean. Iit didn't meet my taste for bass. Several others have made a similar observation. They take EQ, but not as well as I preferred. I couldn't get the oomph I wanted, but they are still a really solid set if you prefer a neutral to bright tuning.

3. They don't provide good passive isolation in my experience.

Stopped by the apple store to check out the fit of the airpods 4. The ANC is pretty good. More so than the Buds 3 but they do give a bit of that disorienting effect that strong ANC can.

Fit is better for me. Sound is a touch warmer and bassier than my personal preference (df neutral). I do wish there was a slider or control to bring ANC down a notch.

Anyone else get a little confused in this sea of TWS offerings these days.. A guy on YouTube claims he’s tested 200 different pairs and distill it down to the three best per five categories (or buckets), he’s identified. This is for 2024, looks like he has an impressive spread sheet..

If I turn the volume all the way up I can hear the 20 Hz. At medium volume it dropped off around 30.

Picky audio. Fyi he rates Nothing Ear the 2nd best Tws, considering he has options on his list $350-400 kinda shows how good of a deal they are, which echoes the thoughts of myself and others here. I think he's solid.

Interesting. I had the momentum 4 and found them to be on par with xm5 in sound quality, not better, and they had terrible connection issues. Latter could have been solved with a firmware update.

Ex I haven't heard.

I had the Gemini og, and felt the same. On par with xm5. The reviews I've read suggest it's about the same as the gen 1 for sound. Anyone have them both? Is it better? Just curious.
