EQing reminds me of people going on plastic surgeries to make their beautiful faces even more attractive.I will say, EQ’ing has saved me lots of $$$ though…

The same drive...right...must be.

Cheers!

Seems to me that you think your opinion is the only one that matters because you're the only one who is right.Truth matters to me. It's a bit of a compulsion really.
I protest because I dislike the cycle of the hype train. It leads people astray to waste their money, and then instead of acknowledging they wasted money on mediocre tws, the tendency is to double down and insist said mediocre tws is the best ever, which continues the cycle, and rewards companies for bad products. I don't like that. I seem to be striking a nerve, so Ill drop it and leave it at that.
I never understood that. Maybe because I use Power amp and Hiby music, rather than streaming, so EQ is there by default and makes it sound better. I have noticed that without EQ if you compare a flac file in power amp vs a flac in tidal (or whatever equivalent), tidal seems to sound better. Maybe it's a trick power amp does. I remember some of the personal eq testing stuff when it came out a few years ago, and the consensus at the time was that they made the initial impression sound worse, so that the after-test-audio sounded better. Maybe this is the same thing. Not sure, but yeah #EQforlifeWhat’s funny, is when I sometimes hang out at the water cooler thread…. I mean no offense, but many of those guys loathe EQ.. They’ll mix and match, horse trade….whatever, until they find that perfect IEM/source fit for THEIR auditory needs…. Ha!!! And then start all over again in the never ending search…. Whom am I kidding, I do some of it too.
I will say, EQ’ing has saved me lots of $$$ though…
Out of curiosity, why use the Meze alba if you have the mest indigo? I'd be using the latter all day longThe GB3pro is good enough for portable use. It sounds as good as my Meze Alba and the thing is, you can kinda tune the sound to your liking with internal EQ. Is my ZX-1 PNK sounds better? Yeah, but the thing with the ZX-1 or any other TWS that I have used so far, if you have Samsung phone, the galaxy buds series is a fool proof, no hassle experience so far. It just connect to my S24U right away and since I have almost all the galaxy buds series, I can see their improvements and declines in each release. Same with if you have an iphone, the APP2 is your best bet.
All of us from that part of the country are. It's a real curse. #prunedalehardcoreNaw, I was born tall, rich and devastatingly handsome….![]()
I have the dissenting opinion here, it seems. Thats fine. I'm super picky. I also speak my mind. I'll leave it at that. You are welcome to disagree.Seems to me that you think your opinion is the only one that matters because you're the only one who is right.
IMO good hifi and bad hifi is largely a grey area, what you like, the next person may not and so on.
Just got the Alba like a week ago. I babied my stuffs especially if it is expensive so I tend to use a cheaper one. I mainly use the Elysian Pilgrim.Out of curiosity, why use the Meze alba if you have the mest indigo? I'd be using the latter all day long
I agree with some of your opinions, specially the H-ANC and how some of the more expensive TWS fall short of it, so you're not alone. Good on you for speaking your mind.I have the dissenting opinion here, it seems. Thats fine. I'm super picky. I also speak my mind. I'll leave it at that. You are welcome to disagree.
I don't think so but I haven't measure or anything. They are not lean by any means but it's more mid bass slam. But can they play 20-25Hz?
For me not using eq or processing is a carry over from my hifi experience. I've always bought kit I like the sound of rather than use artificial means to alter the sound.I never understood that.
