Do the Triumph begin to nip at the heels of decent wired iems? Im curious about these xmems drivers
Personally, I don’t think so. I think the Prestige do, but that’s just me. The problem with the latter is that they have an odd fit because the nozzles are large.

I would love to see Noble incorporate the Xmem driver with maybe a dynamic and a couple that balanced armatures. If Aviot can cram in 5, why not Noble?

I’m in a similar boat. Do you have an apple centric ranking of wireless devices then? Is it just the Apple/Beats stuff at the top?
Not really, no. Changes weekly.

I am outside playing with my first grader and have the PI8 in my ears with transparency mode on, rocking out to some iron maiden and loving it. No dropouts, no issues, very comfortable.

I watched the new Twister (2024) movie last night, did not expect much over the original but it was good and the soundtrack is amazing and seems that is a common thought after watching the movie going by feedback on YouTube where the soundtrack has been added,.

I then grabbed the soundtrack 24/96 (Flac and from a cough, cough source) and it sounds really good, so far only listened to on my MTW4 via phone and PC (BT-W5) via aptX Adaptive 24/96.

FYI the MTW4's no longer need to be put back in case to switch audio modes. they simply do what other earbuds do and reboot.

It's subjective. Both are great. The xMem drivers are great. Even great on the Creative Ace 2 if you want to take a shot there too. Better on the Triumph though. They are of course limited on an Apple device if you want to use the higher codecs. I do, but most often use my Mac and iPhone. While I do love my higher end DAP etc., my lifestyle mostly uses my iPhone and am happy enough. No transmission on any Noble tws case.
Do they get loud enough? I’ve seen reviews that suggest they volume is limited because of the xMEMS.

I had no issue with volume, but a lot of folks here do.

That's subjective I guess but overall I would say not quite. I think I listen louder than many and I definitely wanted it to go higher than max volume quite a few times. Ended up spending the rest of the time at an average 70-80% volume I think. Wasn't the ultimate deal breaker for me but it was a con.

Note: I seem to be the only one with this many connection issues on the Triumph, I'm on Android in case that makes a difference, not sure if the other few Triumph owners here are on Apple.
