I think the reliability is going to come from more than just build quality. Things you can’t see, such as the components chosen, the design implementation, the quality of the firmware, the capability and usability of any app, all play into what we perceive as “quality”.

I know, but I just see too many people having qa issues with sennheiser last couple years. Mtw4 is too new to be certain it is better quality than mtw3 or not. Mtw3 was horrendous from qa perspective everywhere you looked.

Bummer, I've set up a return for my QC 2's, because the left bud has intermittent charging. They we refurbished and I have enjoyed them, so I'll be
looking into the ultras. I might have had the wing thing in wrong and it affected the charging pin, but not sure. Well, if you can install the thing a little
off center and bend the pin, that needs a rethink. Bose troubleshooting guide on their site said to try and bend them back, I did, but still intermittent.
I notice Bose moved from a pogo type pin to a kind of wiper; which seems to bend too easily. When the Ultra's drop to around $200, I'll pick them up.
Their noise cancelling and ability to sill maintain good sound was excellent!

Hmm aviot has a store on Amazon but no te-zx1 yet. I will email them to ask if they will be releasing on Amazon. Indiego is sold out and I don't see it on their shop. I would definitely buy if it was on Amazon.

I don't think it was a super great deal at this point. That's why my obsessed self hasn't pulled the trigger yet.

Replacing my ifi go pod as it starting to exhibit disconnection between the L&R pods. The right pod started to not connecting to the left pod. This problem occur this morning when I connect my laptop using Sennheiser BTD600. The right side didn't seem to sync up to the left pod, so only the left pod producing sound. Tried to reset and after several tries, it worked. Had no problem connection wise, but then it was starting to do it again after I put both pods inside the case. So whenever I put them back inside the case, the right pod just doesn't want to sync up with the left pod.

edit: nm ordered a pair of the black version off of eBay from a top seller.
edit2:nm those were used so I cancelled.
