Any regular users of the WF-1000XM5 here ? How durable are the foam tips ? Some reviewers think they might not last more than a month of heavy use, which seems short. And replacing them with silicone tips apparently reduces isolation a lot.

Nah but I got a reco for you. Nuarl Block + tips if they're available for you. They have foams as well. Still may fav for isolation and just working.

Honestly, I've never had any bt issues with the Nura, Denon or Bose. It's those chips in everyone's head that's interfering.

Still in search of TWS I’d like. Tried DPP and send them back, mainly because of ANC outside/wind and fit/buds moving in ear when I walk/run.

So now it’s between Momentum 4 or back to MontBlanc, despite their shortcomings.

Can anyone give feedback on momentum? Is there any improvement in sound or mainly connection/ANC?

Received the Freeclip today and it's so weird how Huawei tuned this like a studio grade monitor which i actually enjoyed. So neutral! It reminds me of hd800, hd600, audeze m100 m500. Good job huawei. Next generation i hope they can do magic to get the lower end

They'd definitely need magic for this, 'cause physics says the further your sound source is from your ear canal, the less low end you'll get.

If you want open earbuds with proper low end, go for the Freebuds 5 instead. From a physical / acoustical pov, semi-inears have an undeniable advantage.

I also have bluetooth connections issues with QC Ultra (manufactured 16 September, 2023). Even after firmware 1.7.8 problems still occur.

I use Galaxy Buds Live for running. ANC is not great, but that's fine, I like to be aware of the environment. Also, because they're so old, they're cheap, so I can keep them exclusively for running.
My daily TWS is the Bose QC 2, despite some connection issues. A bit too much bass, so EQ is essential for me. Sometimes I change for the oppo enco x2, another great set, with a tuning closer to my preference.
Momentum 4 has great reviews, I'm planning to get them, but right now only the black ones are available.
