I currently have brainwavz hybrid pads on mine and Im diggin them, im sure those are 10 times better then brainwavz. I just ordered me some sheepskin dekoni's to test out. Ill let ya know how they are when they arrive.
Well I couldn't find those Dekoni hybrid pads anywhere on their website, so I e-mailed them to ask about availability. Got this very helpful response:
"We do not currently have the pads in the line up as they are Massdrop exclusives. When they do their drops for Fostex Ear pads from us you can select the X00 pads and you will be getting virtually the same pad we put on the Blue. As for measurements, I am putting together a post about the Blue and what makes it so special. Stay tuned and keep watching HeadFi for updates!"

Just picked these up and Im seriously impressed with the sound for the price. Its my first planar magnetic headphone but since it beats my Nightowl in some genres im really impressed. And thats out of the box, i did not mod anything so far.

Still blown away how good these are. I reordered a Fidelio X2 which i really missed and the X2 has no chance vs the T50RP mk3. I use them more than my Nightowl atm crazy! Using an awesome amp (Arcam rHead) though which probably push them on a pretty high level!
Tons of current really brings mine to life, with resolution to die for. Lately I have been pairing my Mayflower v1 mk3 with my new NOS DAC (a Philips 1387-based DIY RPi hat). An impeccable match. In my experience, the smooth, time-aligned non-oversampling sound is ideal for matching with the incisive precision of the planar drivers. NOS has a soft treble that really takes the edge off of the slightly-bright Mayflower. Pretty much eliminates listening fatigue for me. Addictive sound!
Planar like a decent power source behind them that's for sure. My ifi micro bl drives them just fine for sure. But, put them on my pioneer sx1010, and things really come alive.
