And here comes everyone's favourite question- cables! What is the consensus, if there can be one, on the best compromise between sound, price point and ergonomics for a cable upgrade? I am pretty happy with the stock cables but still curious about aftermarket options. The Danacable Lazuli Reference seems to be getting lots of positive feedback but its thickness and price tag are definitely a big of a turn off.

Other options I have seen mentioned on here are the Arctic Cables Signum+ and the Kimber Axios.
Thoughts?

I’m using the Kimber Axios Copper, But I did purchase my Utopia’s used and they didn‘t come with a Quality cable. I did purchase a Moon Audio Black Dragon before I got AXIOS but felt that an 8 wire would be the better way to go. But to be truthful I can’t say that I can hear the difference.

If you look on the headphones.com thread you’ll see someone analyzed the photo and determined it was a closed headphone with magnesium drivers. Perhaps the new Bentley Radiance without the Bentley logo and some other design changes.

I beg to differ - at least when it comes to the Gungnir Mulitibit, that is a true high end DAC.

From what I father, the best cables for Utopia are Lazuli Reference, Heimdall 2 and Black Dragon. I’ve only heard the Black Dragon and I find it to be an amazing match. Other cables don’t seem to be spoken about nearly as much as these 3.

I really enjoyed the black dragon too. I really regret selling mine.

Finally I'm trough all 923 pages. I know a lot more about cables now.
The only thing missing is my Utopia still stuck in England after an almost 2 month voyage... xD
