Interesting, how different do the Fenestrated Sheepskin pads sound vs the MG pads?

To keep it simple, you're getting a more tactile bass response and a smoother transition from upper mids to the treble, and also better comfort in my case.

Yeah, I forgot those very important points! I did manage to get my hands on some Utopia pads though, it'll be interesting to compare the twos.

The MG is warmer than the OG, so if you're not used to that then it will certainly sound specialer ! Both are excellent headphones in their own ways.

I have two reasonably priced hearty recommendations for hp amplifier for Focal OG / Focal MG: 1) solid state, Flux Lab Acoustics FA-22 ($749); 2) vacuum tube, Schiit Audio Valhalla II ($349). I use both of these with Clear OG. If interested, I have other $$$$$ recommendations…including DACs…
