@gLer said on his post that Effect quoted three-to-five days, and they delivered in five. You might wanna check with Effect for the Z1R specifically, though. I remember someone got their cable reterminated to ConX, and they found the MMCX plug fit very, very tightly on their Z1R. Sony are known to have slightly different MMCX sockets anyway, so you might wanna ask Effect if there have been reports of similar issues, or if they've updated their plugs since then.I actually am considering using ConX for a few cables myself. I love my Z1R and I just picked up an M9 and IE900. All have MMCX connectors. So, I am short on high quality cables for these IEMs. Only problem is shipping to and from Singapore. How long does it take them to reterminate the cables to ConX?

FWIW, I haven’t had any issues with ConX fitting and removing the MMCX plugs and IER-Z1R
Dang. I love that cable. What is it? Please, sell it to me.FWIW, I haven’t had any issues with ConX fitting and removing the MMCX plugs and IER-Z1R
it’s the Leo 2 OctaDang. I love that cable. What is it? Please, sell it to me.
Looks like Leonidas
I have a Leo 2, but that Octa is pretty.it’s the Leo 2 Octa
Yup, I also "upgraded" to an Octa. Love it. It has a 2.5 mm plug though, might send it to Singapore for 4.4 mm and ConX.I have a Leo 2, but that Octa is pretty.
The Leonidas cables have always been my favorite from EA. I’d love a Leo 3 (it’s gotta be time soon, right?) for my 12t.
That's too bad. I have been spending a fortune reterminating cables to 4.4mm. Shipping costs are killing me. Why is it that only Singapore and Hong Kong do terminations for USA?Yup, I also "upgraded" to an Octa. Love it. It has a 2.5 mm plug though, might send it to Singapore for 4.4 mm and ConX.
I don't mind using the small ddhifi adapter, for 2.5 mm cables. But if I send it to EA for ConX, I might as well have them reterminate it as well. I'm also going to ask them to fix the slider. It has the same size slider as the 4 wire cable, which is silly, way too tight on the 8 wire version. That's too bad. I have been spending a fortune reterminating cables to 4.4mm. I was told by EA that the Leo II was created because I was the only person on Earth who didn't like the Leo I, and they designed it specifically to address every single one of my numerous complaints. So, I reckon it'd take quite the hater to get a Leo III down the pipeline. The Leonidas cables have always been my favorite from EA. I’d love a Leo 3 (it’s gotta be time soon, right?) for my 12t.
Fine print in case no one gets that this was said jokingly.

Just gave it a watch. Overall seems like he thinks X > Traillii > Evo.
X was overall his favorite, Traillii for vocals but bass light, Evo has a fun tuning to him but didn’t have much praise for it if any.
Most of his talks about the Evo were about the bad packaging of his IEMs in the round case.
He ended with X and Traillii being worth it, Evo not.
The EVO isn't available in the wild, if he bought one it is a demo, I was around when he was pushed out of HeadFi, I'm not sure if he's a con man, nuts or both.

Quite a few “reviewers” have the Evo already. Some of them paid for them. They’re just not the launch edition versions.

My mistake, I thought he was claiming to have purchased a retail unit.
