I remember someone got their cable reterminated to ConX, and they found the MMCX plug fit very, very tightly on their Z1R. Sony are known to have slightly different MMCX sockets anyway, so you might wanna ask Effect if there have been reports of similar issues, or if they've updated their plugs since then.

Yup, I also "upgraded" to an Octa. Love it. It has a 2.5 mm plug though, might send it to Singapore for 4.4 mm and ConX.
That's too bad. I have been spending a fortune reterminating cables to 4.4mm. Shipping costs are killing me. Why is it that only Singapore and Hong Kong do terminations for USA?
I don't mind using the small ddhifi adapter, for 2.5 mm cables. But if I send it to EA for ConX, I might as well have them reterminate it as well. I'm also going to ask them to fix the slider. It has the same size slider as the 4 wire cable, which is silly, way too tight on the 8 wire version.
I was told by EA that the Leo II was created because I was the only person on Earth who didn't like the Leo I, and they designed it specifically to address every single one of my numerous complaints. So, I reckon it'd take quite the hater to get a Leo III down the pipeline.
Just gave it a watch. Overall seems like he thinks X > Traillii > Evo.
X was overall his favorite, Traillii for vocals but bass light, Evo has a fun tuning to him but didn’t have much praise for it if any.
Most of his talks about the Evo were about the bad packaging of his IEMs in the round case.
He ended with X and Traillii being worth it, Evo not.
