Any other ciems manufacturers make hybrids other than the following?
Oriolus
64audio
Aaw
Jomo
Rhapsodio
Empire
Perfectseal
Lear

NCM have a few hybrids (the Bella is an excellent sounding IEM), and StealthSonics have recently come to market with a 9-driver hybrid as well. Heard the universal 9-driver version at Canjam London and was so impressed I had to pick one up on the spot, now debating getting it converted to a CIEM.

So with some inevitability I've been put back on the main side at work which to say the least is a damn site noisier than where I was sat (which wasn't fantastic anyway!). Was just curious what the best isolating iems (and ciems for that matter) are atm? I'm guessing the usual suspects such as Shure, Westone and the daddy Etymotic still rule the roost, just wondered about any others? Bloody irritating today, couldn't get a seal with either of the two uiems I had taken in (music two from ca, and comet from ca, work that one out :p)so in the end used my sennheiser hd25-II's. Great, except then I couldn't use glasses which were a bit of a b**ger since it means I'm stuck in front of a touch screen monitor for 7 hours a day!
It will probably not help you very much, but from the IEMs I have used more regularly, I still think my Custom Art Ei.3 offer the best isolation. I guess that is because they are quite small (fit well in my ears) and Piotr uses a nice thick and sturdy shell. I would expect that his silicone-filled models will offer even better isolation even in UIEM form, but I believe you have already tried CA.

Have you ever tried something like the Bose active noise cancelling headphones or earbuds? Or, not sure if it will work for at the job, the new sleepbuds (you can enjoy the soothing sound of crashing waves while working :D )?
They definitely make custom versions for Japan, Hong Kong and China, try to email them to learn more.
Hey Bina, did you recently join Shanling? Or did I completely miss that from your previous posts? (A similar story to Andy Kong and Cayin?)

Ah okay, might have overlooked it. I remember some of the really interesting visits you made (eg. QDC), but not that you were with Shanling, so I thought it might have grown from hobby to profession through such visits.

The story of Andy Kong and Cayin? I am just curious, is that an adventure story or a love story?

A superhero story...

A long long time ago (well not that long) in a small and probably far too expensive Hong Kong flat we find our hero in the guise of his mild-mannered alter ego Andy Kong. Unassuming by day, Andy lives a secret life as audiophile superhero 'Beta Tester', who fights the good fight against notorious gear gremlins for the good of audiophilekind. One such fight became the stuff of legends, when the damsel in distress was none other than Cayin, the beautiful HiFi maiden from the Far East*. Cayin was struggling with the gremlins from the depths of the N6, but those proved no match for the wits and skills of Beta Tester. After vanquishing the gremlins, Cayin invited Beta Tester to reveal his identity to the world and leave behind the confusing life of a schizophrenic superhero who never knows who he might wake up as the next day, and settle down simply as 'Magnificent Andy' together with her. Having given it a fair amount of thought he accepted the offer on the condition that she never ever call him 'Magnificent Andy' again. So Beta Tester became just Andy Kong, hero to Cayin and all round nice guy.

The End.

* Technically from just a little North of Hong Kong, so it is all relative to geographical location.

Nice to see the thread is becoming a place of cultural diversity and appreciation. How was everybody's kurada this morning? Personally, I've been mostly thrilled to learn the word 'bitches' has seeped through the PG filter, alongside 'ass'.

Anyways enough yammering, I would like to share my review of a fine-ass cable with you bitches, the Han Sound Audio Venom.

An adventurously tragic love story. It all worked out in the end.
