I hope the Jolene has more treble than the Roxanne. That one had almost no treble at all to me but it had a HUGE soundstage.

More treble than Roxanne Aion? I gotta admit, I'm not too familiar with JH line up, but I did spend some time last year (back in Feb at CanJam NYC, before the hell broke loose) at JH table testing Roxanne Aion and Jimi. I do agree, soundstage of Roxanne was huge, the bass was overwhelming at full setting and I had to dial it down from the cable to make it less fatigue, but treble was too peaky, borderline sibilant even with my eartips. On the other hand, Jimi was more natural, but too smooth and with mids being too thick for my taste.

Also, with their 7pin custom connector, cable rolling will not be easy if you already have a collection for fancy cables.

Yeah, after some time listening to it again, I do think you’d like it as a complement for your Fourte.

Me and @KuroKitsu swapped IEMs to try out in our own comfort. He has my Wraith, Zeus XR-A, and as a bonus I added in the TG334 so he can compare them to the Wraith and see if he agrees that it would be the true next step up from the magical midrange of the 334 to the Wraith. And of course he’ll be doing an EE flagship shootout Full BA, Vs BA/EST Hybrid, Vs DD/BA/EST Tribrid.

And I have his Lola and M4 to do my listening impressions on them as well.

Don't mean to gunk up the thread here, but you guys are so knowledgeable and experienced with portable players.

My needs :
Has to be a Hiby dap exclusively.
(because of thr mseb dsp, I need that specifically for my use)
Has to be able to power as much as possible a Low impedence planar headphone.

So I guess it needs to be capable of a lot of current.
Which Hiby device is best for this?

Do you mean low impedance or high impedance value? If high impedance, R8 is the choice. Yesterday I did an experiment with Susvara and R8, surprisingly the sound from R8 is not bad at all. Compared to my desktop setup, soundstage is narrower, treble is a bit more sparkly, but overall sound is totally acceptable. The lows are there and not anemic, but of course the notes are not as full. I was expecting a really lousy sound coming out of R8 but pleasantly surprised indeed.

Id love to try the Lolas as it will give me a hint if I will love the Jolena, cause Jolene is pretty much Lola in all its best like the LayLa

Out of curiosity, which cable are you now using with the Fourte. I believe you had told me about the Symbiote Elite 19 when you had the Noir. Are you still using it? Curious as to how it would match with the Fourte. Tks.

Yes I was using the super silver cable with the noirs as they are much darker and warmer then Og Fourte. Now with Og I always used the full copper cables and I did place a Pre order for the new Compliment C cable from DHC which is a same type of cable like Prion4 which is a super super flagship cable at dhc silver variant. Now compliment C is the super flagship copper variant cable.

I love copper cables with fourte it brings the best out of it and has impressive bass textures and details. Plus my dap is also copper. Back in time I was using 1z and effect audio ares II now we have ramped up the ladder very high and all in for ultra best gears only.

The OG Andro really resembles it outside of the mids.

Also quite close to the Phantom in FR.

Looking forward to spending sometime with that, but first gonna finish those Wraith impressions. Possibly Zeus XRA and then a shootout of those with Odin.
