A little birdie told me told me that next week Santa will bring me over a D8000 to demo. If I like it ...nope ...still won't have the money to buy yours, as it looks like I will need to buy myself a new roof first.
Still, looking forward to hearing some impression of the Shichiku Kangen!

I will be writing a review once I get mine. Pretty excited about this purchase since I’m a huge fan of both final and DITA.

For those interested in a VX-S vs Odin comparison, here are my initial thoughts:
First of all, to my ears, the VX is deserving of its reputation of being one of the best performing IEMs available. I know some take issue with its 7K bump, but this is no issue for me—my hot spot is 6K.
Compared to the Odin, starting with the bass, the VX has greater presence in the mid-bass (switches off). The Odin goes deeper in the sub-bass, but unlike others who find the Odin’s bass state of the art, I find it a bit too neutral. The mids on the VX are captivating with a level of micro detail that creates a highly atmospheric sound. The trebles are silky sounding to me, quite engaging, just about perfect in my view. It doesn’t have quite the level of transparency of my A8000 which is my reference in this area.
The soundstage and imaging is more holographic than the Odin, this may be the VX’s greatest attribute.
I’m keeping my Odin, I’m quite happy with it, but the VX is getting most of my ear time these days ...

Getting to Monile + M4 again:
Finally got around to trying the M4 + Monile pair in the treble regions. Still no issues with the 5-6k spike.
There's a little bit of sparkle and excitement injected there. When combined with the more initimate mids adds some needed musicality in that range when compares to the stock Scorpion C. Technicality appears to be untouched for the most part, there's plenty of room in the soundstage even with the increased intimacy. I would argue that it's due mostly to the tubeless design, and the Monile respecting that area.
I initally wanted to get the 1960s 2 wire for the M4 during the Musicteck sale given my familiarity with the cable, but my order had to be built by PWA and they only had enough available for the 4.4 I need for Odin. So I got Monile on a whim (Just my luck that @Deezel177 dropped that review the day after
). It seems like I made a good decision.

My sixth day today and have done quite a fair bit of listening. Will give a summary of my impressions closer to the end of the stay. All of them are impressive in their own ways and both the Supreme 2 and Noir have come alive after some burn in with the Sup 2 and using the EPro horn-shaped tips on the Noir paired with Horus Octa. I thought I could use this opportunity to make a decision on which to keep but I did not expect it to be much more challenging than I thought!
I am very impressed with Frozen which is a gold silver alloy cable. Performance to Price ratio is excellent. It is performing at a similar level with Code51 but I am hearing a better extension on treble.
