Niiice! I’ve contacted dune blue in Europe to get an S1 as soon as they have it in stock - I’d love to use it with my ipad considering that’s USB-C

I have been reliably informed that they have stock on the way. So if they are not there yet, they will be soon!

I seem to be done purchasing gear for a while...so nothing new to share unfortunately. My take for the best dynamic "all rounder" on the market right now (at least out of what I've tried, which admittedly isn't everything)...the CFA Solaris SE synergizing wonderfully with the Cayin n6ii + E01. Punchy, dynamic, spacious, impeccable coherence and layering, well extended on both ends, wonderfully forward and textured mids...pure win for me.

It doesn’t. Its logo has a crown around it and what-not, which is different to the EVE’s. Actually, before it became this annual, all-universal, limited-edition line-up, EVE used to represent Vision Ears’ region-exclusive customs. There was the AURUM (re-wired VE8) with My IEM Store, the Frozen with Crystal Sound Audio, the EVE ‘17 with Earphone King, etc. But, they’ve obviously now adapted it into what it is today.

Speaking of not having purchased gear in a while...If I crack from that resolution it will most likely be VE's fault.

The S1, any hissing with sensitive iems? Thx
I will give my Phantom a try tomorrow. Curious about that myself because I normally can’t use my Phantom with my MacBook Pro because of hiss.

Mine is airing-out in the garage now after I just opened the package, the "typical" 24-hr after disinfecting garage quarantine lol!!!

BTW, I was wrong when I said S1 just uses AKM's built-in amp. Their AK4377 DAC indeed has a built in-amp, but apparently Lotoo also implemented a standalone op-amp chip in addition to it. Very rare for these small usb-stick dacs.
