Dave Brubeck sounds stupefyingly good out of the F111.  Holy freakin' Christmas.

@ Valens7: actually all acoustic recording will sounded good with  F111, the nuances, airy fells  + good tonal that comes from instruments is really hard to find on others brands, please try  001 cable... the bass is more controlled and the vocal is more smooth. Same with some others I prefer F111 rather than TG334

did anyone here try the k3003 tips with F111. I've tried the AKG k3003 tips with my Fitear Parterre, it make the treble become more sparkle and the mid is less smooth than the original tips which come with fitear IEM

I had a dream about trying the 000 cable with my f111 I think I am spending too much time on head-fi :S

Me too, but the price make me thinking thousand times, I can buy a pair fitear 111 in that price range.
I choose to order cardas earspeaker than 000.
Can't wait to compare Fitear 111 vs Cardas Earspeaker, they booth in the same price range

The earspeakers are in Australia, I am guessing they will make their way by this thursday. I was hoping it would arrive yesterday so I could enjoy it over the weekend but I guess next weekend is good enough as well.

These are about $600. I used to have the cm10, and I still have the dba-02, which is very similar to the ck10. I'd say the F111 has a bit more bass and less treble. The F111 sounds tonally more correct to me, without the treble emphasis throwing off timbre on the ck10. Overall the ck10 is still a very good iem if one prefers a brighter presentation.

But honestly 600 is alot and I really feel despite how much I like them they are just too much for that price. There is nothing obviously wrong with them, perhaps they do not isolate that well, beside that they are just a good all rounder but just they cost too darn much!

Depends how you look at it. The F111 has less flaws than anything else I've heard (besides the ER4S) including the ASG-2 and UERM which both cost more. I feel I can can safely say by reading others impressions and looking at measurements that there isn't much out there that beats the F111 if something close to the Olive-Welti target is desired. Especially it's mids are very rare in iems in my experience.

At least in the US the ASG-2 is cheaper than the F111.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that once my ears got used to the stabbing, my ER4S became quite comfortable. I wear them for hours, and it's like having fluffy down pillows in my ears. Of course ymmv.
