First UE11 Impressions

I wasn't saying it isn't a viable comparison. I was saying one was much better than the other in every way imaginable.

I could similarly say it's like comparing a 1984 camaro with a 4 cylinder to a bugatti

So how does this compare to MDR-R10? I have MDR-R10 but I am not going to spend 1,100 for something I don't know what the hell I am expecting.

Hi has anyone tried putting nail polish on his UE customs yet? Mine is not fitting well and I wanna try to see what I can do. Also will the nail polish like wear off or will it stay till I choose to remove it?

All my posts and PM from today were lost in todays crash, and I can't get the links to my size fix with Tamiya Acrylic paint on my iPhone right now. Just search for all posts by HeadphoneAddict with the words "Tamiya" and "acrylic" in them. You'll find 4 posts total and a couple have detailed instructions. One was in this thread (?1394?).

I'm sad, that was one of the most useful posts in this thread.

I was going to do this at one point, but Jeanette at UE said that she would "not recommend it" and that it would in fact void my warranty with them. I guess you never know what sort of chemical properties these things have...

She suggested that I use dental wax to experiment with... obviously that's not a permanent solution, though. You could add some dental wax till it is comfortable and send them back in for a refit job if you're within your 30-day fit warranty.

noone else recently got a new pair of these done? I'm looking to join the UE11 gang. but then someone recently introduced me to the ACS T1, and raved about it being better than the UE11, having come from the latter. anyone else went for the ACS T1?
