Blast from the past: the Lab2 paired with the Shanling M9 Plus. :)

Another Final product we don't much of anymore: the PianoForte X. Still sounds as lullingly seductive after all these years. Especially when paired with the liquid sounds of the Shanling M9 Plus. :)

My choice is Azla Standard due to the larger size and more firm material - I get a much more secure fit. I find they don’t really emphasise any part of the FR, keeping a nice balance and allow sufficient air to provide room for stage, detail etc.

FYI this is Azla Short. One of the most unique sounding eartips on the market actually. Wide bore + matte bore surface, make for an expansive yet relaxing sound.

I love Radius Deep Mount on the E series. For the A series I think I’d use Sony EP-TC50 or a foam tip.

Can we post memes?

Sorry only seeing this - yes I'll give some impressions over the weekend as I've had more time with them now.

The E5000 never sounded so clear and powerful before… and I have tried almost everything with them. They are like the Phoenix reborn! The single DD bassy 🐐. It is all about the synergy and it starts with the source.

E5000 out of a powerful portable amp, from a good DAC or DAP is still ultra competitive nowadays, IMHO. I tend to think that the ones who bash these IEMs are the ones who have never listened to their full potential.

But it’s also Final’s fault for making these IEM like tiny “Susvara”

I really need to buy E5000 again now that I can give them more power - I got a taste over two years ago but only with the Sony ZX300 and ZX507.
