Any comparison between E3000 and A4000?

Hi, I have both E3000 and A4000.

They are very different from each other. The E3000 is very warm with not a lot of treble to balance out. Music sounds thick and heavy on E3000, which might be its selling point. I bought it just for the included box of eartips, tbh.

A4000 is more “audiophile” in my opinion. It sounds more “transparent”, in the sense that elements of the mix seem to be spread out across the headstage for you to hear them clearly. A4000 is subbass focus, so the “thump” sound of drums is not loud, but the rumble impact of each drum hit is quite clear. Its treble extension is also excellent. I hear more details in the ending tone of vocals and instruments on A4000 than both Fiio FD5 and Moondrop Blessing 2, which surprises me. The drawback is that A4000 might sound too bright for people who are familiar with the neutral tuning of Moondrop.

An alternative to the A4000 if you prefer a more balanced less bright tuning would be the A3000 in my opinion. The A3000 too I think has the punchier and voluminous mid-bass, as well as great at their execution, attack, speed. Both have similarly good midrange timbre

Does someone compared Fiio FD7 with A8000 ?

The A8000 all the way for me. FD7's sounds flat and duller by comparison. Also the height and spaciousness of the stage are better, more grand and airy on the A8000. On the downside, the A8000 sounds lively, sparkly and overall slightly brighter than the FD7. Which may be a good thing if you're after that shimmer at the top end, and string instruments

A8000 look similar to my HS1677ss

I tried both, A8000 has a thinner note weight but better technicalities - eg better transients, micro-details, imaging, instrument separation. A800 is harder to drive though.

I do think A800 has the best resolution and technicalities I have tried in a single DD set, it can possibly match or surpass some multi BA/hybrids in this department even. Perhaps not a fair comparison, as the A8000 is substantially pricier than the HS167SS.

Hi, is there anything in Final line up that sounds like A4000 but with better build quality? The transparent sound and sub-bass focus of A4000 are exactly what I have been looking for in an IEM, but the build quality is such a let down (to me).

Obviously A8000 is the step up, but it’s as expensive as a used car in my city, so hard to justify. Maybe something in B series?

Thansk.
What DAP did you use, for this comparison ? SR25 ?

Strange, but for E3000 and E4000 I use Final eartips size M, while for E2000 and E1000 - size L (the biggest ones). The sound of E3000 and E4000 with size L feels like a lot of bass, with a loss in ultra high frequencies, so I prefer them with size M, with which I get a slightly transparent sound.

I’d like to try a final iem but I can’t chose one🤷🏼‍♂️
I’d like something similar to my Pandora Hope VI, maybe E4000/5000?
