These guys have the plug for the Finals, I saw them posting on fb not long ago. The price of their cables is pretty close to ALO so a big no for me, could be useful for the X (if you can afford the X I doubt a few hundred bucks would be a problem ha ha). Also I used to tried some cables for the Sony Z7 and Denon cans using the Oyaide jack. they works just fine without the locking feature but I'm not sure if they hold in the long run without slipping out (though with the stock cable I never lock anyway and never have problem).

Without the locking pins, whilst normal plugs will stay in for a while, they will fall out if the cables are of some thickness and weight.

May as well have a look at Toxic Cables as well. That's why I chose the Toxic Cables Black Widow and had Frank make me the adapters as well. :)

The 3.5mm extended connectors will work for these headphones, as well as many others. If the cable is very heavy (and lengthy), it is possible that it will not hold. However, our cables are designed and built to be as lightweight as possible and we have not had any issues in regards to this.

Thanks for your thoughts. As someone who listens to the X extensively, amongst my other cans, I do not wish to have any compromises on the physical character of my cables. Sonics are paramount to me. Hence, I am happy to have cables and adapters with the locking device. And I remain true to the design of the late Takai-san. :)

I just received my balanced Toxic Cables BW for the Final Audio Sonorous X. Isn't she gorgeous?

Owners of Final Audio cans know that it can be tough to get after market cables because of the proprietary connectors used. However, Frank was determined enough to make the cable for me that he ordered the connectors from Final Audio.

So, he can make any cable from the Toxic Cables stable for use with Final Audio cans.

Thanks Kiat,

There are not many connectors we don't hold in stock as we have most manufacturers for us, the Final Audio was one we did not have, but we got there in the end

Glad you are happy with the cable my friend.

Thanks, Frank! It was very kind of you to help me get to where I want to in respect of a proprietary connector. Where I was not willing to compromise in terms of physical of the connectors and the sonic character of the cables.

The X is sounding brilliant with the BW out of the box. Early days but I fully expect the sonics to improve a fair bit more as the BW settles down.

After that, I'll stick in the SW22 and the Hydra and prepare to blow my mind. As well as the Copper Venom and 8Wire BW. Can't wait to push the X as far as I can. :)

Hrm... How much is for one cable? (prospective buyer of Pandora Hope IV here)
Though I guess for it to be proprietary it'll be quite a bit too much for me..

I have the PF VIII, they were my first PFs, and from them I really love the Pfs. And yes, there is a difference between VIII and IX – more details, clearance and space. For me in PF X everything is on maximum level, it is the best earphones I've ever heard.

I've compared fibass with pf x and akg 3003 - pf loose only in bass quantity, in all other they win, especially in comparison with 3003. Middles are in highest quality level in pf, better than in earphones of ALL PRICES that I've heard. Fibass are just 30 percent of pf's sound, and 3003 are about 15 percent

I would like to compare pf X with lab II, but no money to buy lab II
