Head-Fier
Recently I purchased Periodic Audio Be for my X5 III and after about two weeks of listening I find this combination really fascinating and highly recommend trying it.
Thanks for the reply. I have emailed support several times with no reply. The headphone icon does display, even if the headphone or line out jacks have nothing plugged into them.

Dear friend,@FiiO
for the next update, could you please fix/translate the message in chinese that appears when adding a song to the favourites ? (press the heart icon and you get a message in chinese), i suppose it means "added to favorite" or something close but it would be nice to have it in english
thanks

Dear friend,
Which one? Would you mind a screenshoot? Thank you in advanced!
Best regards
Thanks a lot for this comparison I was undecided on whether to buy HA-2SE or Fiio X5 gen 3 , looks like X5 is more practical and better sounding than HA-2SEOK. Done some listening comparrisons between my HA2SE & X5III.
Same tracks with Shute SE846.
For many tracks they are vary comparable just with slightly different sound signature.
One piece made me decide I prefer the X5III, Candido - Arcason which has lots of instruments and vocals spread across an open sound stage.
X5III sounds more 3D with greater soundstage and positioning, instrument separation better defined with greater air between singers and instruments. It feels as if I'm more in the room with the artists than on the HA-2SE.
If I had to sell one today it would be the Oppo as the X5III is least as good if not better than the Oppo and far more practicle as a single device.
Now going to do some testing with balanced cable now.
X5III has more backround hiss than HA2SE but only noticeable netween tracks in a totally quiet room and thats with super sensitive SE846's.
The X5III is also far better value than a HA-2SE.

I believe the lock screen is controlled by Android and not FIIO. If you figure out how to change it, let us know because it bugs me as well.I've set the time to use the 12 hour format; however, on the fiio music screen that appears after no activity (not sure what to call it) it still shows up using the 24 hour format. Am missing something?
Also, FIIO any news on the implementation of replaygain and a new sorting methodology? Also, is support of multiple tags possible?
Seems to be more than one lock screen on this device, sometimes you get a correct clock and other times when it locks while music playing you get this one.Is the latest firmware still 1.1.7? I have 12hr format on lock screen. Unless I have no clue what you guys are talking about... which could be... I'm playing with Krylon Kamar Varnish on some "wood" plugs I'm making for a cable... so I'm a little bit loopsy.

Yes, still 1.1.7 on Fiio's website. Is the latest firmware still 1.1.7?
It is officially bizarre that it works for you and not others.Go to Settings > Date & Time > Use 24 Hour Format > Toggle On/Off.
On my Fiio X5iii the lock screen shows whichever format has been selected, even the lock screen in Fiio Music.
Hope this helps!
