@FiiO with no more stock of the 7270 for sale, will the M6 run out of stock quickly or are there enough units?

The Exynos7270 used in the M6/M7/M9 has been discontinued, although we already purchased some inventory chips based on our own forecasts before that.
The M6 is now out of stock in some area. But it will not stop production in a soon time.

@FiiO No, that's not what I'm looking for. Don't see the point of buying a leather case if it doesn't protect the touchscreen... That's the reason why I always buy such cases for my phones and stuff, to protect the touchscreen. My smartphone is almost 3 years old, and because of the case the screen looks as new. Not one single scratch on it.

I noticed that the company Tuff Luv made cases for all the X-series DAP's by Fiio. Do you have to give confirmation for them to make it? Or can a company decide to make it on it's own? Just wondering...

Hey all, I just came here to let you know about my battery which I thought was acting strange in the past days. So I had a battery drain even when not playing music, in sleep mode with everything turned off. It turns out it was my OnePlus USB-C bullets. Since they have an internal DAC it seems the M6 was always providing energy and the device didn't sleep. Now, when I disconnect the USB-C the M6 seems to sleep normally again. I just thought I would share my experience in case any other people have the same problem.

I know that the US and Canada don't have stock on the M6 yet. Will the situation with the 7270 affect whether we will get stock or not? If you can answer this will you discontinue the M6 production when you run out of 7270 chips or switch to a different Samsung chip?

I was wondering if someone might know when the M6 might be in stock in the United States? It apparently was in stock on Amazon for a short while before being shown as "currently unavailable" and B&H Photo shows it as "coming soon".

I believe Amazon had it listed based on when they expected to have stock. When that changed they changed the status. I have a friend in St Louis who tried to order one and when he called Amazon after the status changed that is the explanation they gave him. Not sure how accurate that is but all that matters is no dealers in North America have stock yet.

I've been a FiiO fan for several years (X1, X3ii, BTR3, FH1, cables). I've been waiting for the M6 to be in stock on Amazon, but decided to look at what else is available. I had looked at the Shanling M2s a couple of months ago, but there were mentions here of the M0. It got good reviews and seems to do everything that I want, so mine comes tomorrow. The extra features of the M6 are a plus over the M0, but I have no plans to use any of those features. I really like the size of the M0. It reminds me of my old Sandisk Sansa Clip+. Sorry FiiO, I've been happy with your products.

EDIT: Oh I read your question again and I saw you indicated DLNA. As far as I know that is supported too , as per advertising:

Good question, not an owner yet, but guessing that since it's based on Android (though heavily customized) and since ES File Explorer is a whitelisted app you might access your NAS thru that and play but.. well yeah, has to be tested (maybe some more advanced Music Players with LAN sources might be whitelisted in the future who knows .. or even added in FiiO music )
