So you mean in addition to being able to skip to next track/previous track by using the volume buttons on the M6, you also want it to be able to fast forward/rewind?

Yes I have done it already. Am able to install other apps. Only for Shureplus Play apk, I get message that "staging app" then it closes. Please check. Shure adapter works but this app is needed for checking adapter battery level and EQ if anyone needs.

Maybe this app is not compatible with the M6 well. The RAM of the M6 is too small, so some large app could not run in the player well. You could check whether there are lite version of this app for help?

not sure which version of Neutron Music Player should be more suitable for the Fiio M6 digital audio player?

A total of 7 different versions of Neutron music player are available in the download section at neutroncode.com. However, I'm not sure which version should be the right one for the Fiio M6 digital audio player?

Is this version the right one? : Neutron Music Player (ARMv7+NEON) / NeutronMP_NEON.apk
