Thank you for your reply .
Sounds good and what I’m looking for. Can’t afford too much, just want to upgrade for the streaming wireless really. I will be using Sennheiser momentum 2 with it and plugging into audio pro multi room speakers.
Have looked at Sony nwa45 but no streaming, lack of power and proprietary lead put me off.

The positives on the FiiO do outweigh the negatives. The whitelisted World Radio app is excellent for high quality music from numerous countries. If you have a Bluetooth receiver you can attach it to your amp or speakers and play from the M6 to your HiFi or Speakers in various ways. You could use the M6 as that receiver. It's worth looking up both FiiO Link and Spotify Connect to get a few extra arrows for the M6 quiver. The M6 has one negative. The processor is not that fast and cannot multi-task and that can slow it down a little. For me that is no problem because the sound quality is excellent and once the music is playing it sounds very good indeed. There are so many ways of using the M6 that I genuinely don't think even FiiO are aware of some of them.

I tried many times.
It doesnt work.
No sound when i switch DoP
Dear friend,

So does your DAC support DSD input like our Q5 or Q1MKII when working as USB DAC? Can other formats work fine? Then D2P mode works or not?

Best regards

@FiiO

I am very disappointed. I turned on my fiio after 2 months of regular use and I see dead pixels. How do I deal with this? I don't have a warranty.
Dear friend,

Please send email to support@fiio.com with a picture for confirming the issue.

Best regards

Aptx HD and LDAC are both sounding great.

As I try more and more features, a few wrinkles have popped up. I'm only bothered by one : when I stream in Bluetooth to my amp, it misses about 1/3 of a second, strangely enough it gets well into the next track before it happens! Something like 10 seconds into the 2nd track it'll lose a beat, then pick up just fine. Then do the same for every subsequent track. Anyone else had this?

Seems to be using classic SBC mode to talk to my amp, I don't think it can receive anything other than that.

Hey everyone, new member here. I bought my first real DAP (a colorfly c200) a couple of months back and i am looking for an uprgrade, possibly something with a faster ui and no crashes( i often have to reset the c200). Is the m6 screen responsive enough and would it be a big improvement in sound ? Or should i wait for the m5, for an ultra portable option. I mostly listen with iems or headphones ( beyer custom street, aiaiai tma 2, tfz queen, flc8, bgvp ds1 tn, akg n60nc, sony mdr1rnc)
(Sorry for the bad english, not my first language)

Finally got my m6! What a great little player.
I got it connected over Bluetooth to my Marantz amp but it’s not doing it all the time. Somehow I can not get it to connect with Airplay to it. I turn the airplay on but it doesn’t connect at all. Any advice how to do this? I got a Marantz NR-1607. The screen only shows the airplay screenshot but nothing else to confirm or connect.
Thanks.

New M6 user here too. Can anyone advise what setting should I use to send music via USB output to my Schiit DAC?

I connect using a USB C to USB A adaptor but while the DAC registers something is hooked up no sound comes out, whether in LO or PO mode.

Any tips?

Just got my m6, and the device constantly keeps disconnecting from wifi. This is making spotify playback impossible. The wifi only disconnects on this device. Anyone have any ideas?
I have a dual band Wifi router and the connection is rock solid on the 2.4Ghz band. I haven't tried connecting to the 5Ghz band .. which one are you trying to connect to? Also Spotify (except app lag) works great.

2.4ghz, i dont think m6 supports 5ghz.
Well thanks for correcting me there.. i am not having any problems with the wifi and i tried a few different hotspots. I assume you have updated the fw to the latest?

Did you try a different network? A good attempt might be to enable the hotspot over 4G in your Android phone and try to connect to that in the m6 (provided you have Android/Hotspot capabilities)
