Why in fiio m6 doesn't work DoP usb output?
That's why fiio m6 downsample everything to 16/44?
Fiio team any suggestions?

Welp I seem to have a problem with wifi on the M6. It worked fine the first time I connected but after I updated the firmware and restarted it is now stuck in a "Obtaining IP Address" loop. Did a factory reset and I still have the same problem.

does anyone else have the same problem that when using FiiO Music almost every time a song changes there is a short skip/pause at the beginning of the next song? The issue has been there always for me but now it’s really starting to annoy me. I have tried factory reset, different sd cards formatted to both FAT32 and exFAT. All my music is on the sd card. Using Spotify online and offline there has been no problem

Most people in this thread seem to want HibyMusic to be whitelisted, and besides, HibyMusic isn't heavy on resource usage; Spotify does seem to use more resources than HibyMusic from what I see, and it's in the whitelist.

When using the Spotify app do you need a premium account?

Anyone who’s used the Fiio x3 ii would you say this is a sidestep in terms of sound quality?

No you can use shuffle option and not pay. And it's been a long time since I've heard the x3ii, but off the top of my head I'd say the m6 is more neutral and has better resolution/detail whatever you want to call it.
I think the sound stage might be wider on x3ii though. As I said this is from memory but I absolutely reccomend the m6, it's got a lot going for it, ldac support, streaming, airplay, nice dac etc. I think somebody will eventually root it and it will become the most powerful tiny budget dap there is.

Can't answer Spotify question because I have a Spotify Premium account. I do have the FiiO X3ii and the M6 is, IMHO, much better. With LDAC and wireless the M6 is on the cutting edge of DAP features.

Sounds good and what I’m looking for. Can’t afford too much, just want to upgrade for the streaming wireless really. I will be using Sennheiser momentum 2 with it and plugging into audio pro multi room speakers.
Have looked at Sony nwa45 but no streaming, lack of power and proprietary lead put me off.

My m6 should be here today! Can’t wait. Happy to hear that I can use Spotify without a paid account. Just went through multiple hdd’s to look through all my old music. (around 300gbMp3’s Mostly). I have a lot of duplicates and random stuff. Used it all though iTunes but I am looking for program where I can just dump my music in and it fixes songs and organizes it. Especially duplicates. Is there a program out there you recommend and then take the music from there and put it on my m6?

Same case here, the dollar exchange in my country is going sky high so I must stay on the quality/price balance all the time. M9 and the upcoming M11 are awesome, no doubt, but the M6 has the upper hand over the M9 with the form factor in my opinion (though my eyes would be grateful lol), and the M11 is expensive as a cellphone (and powerful as one, granted)... And the M6 is loaded with most/all M9 features, which is my main interest. You can't beat that quality/price relationship, indeed. In the near future only the M5 for its fun/size (watch) factor (I love watches!) may be in my sight. For now the M6 and the BTR1K (another winner in quality/price ratio) are my choices.
