Can the M6 play MC (surround) files e.g. FLAC or DTS and give the MC data via USB to an attached MC soundcard as descriped here (MC output over USB)? The output must be MC too, not stereo downmix.

Can it fire an Audeze Mobius or an Creative SXfi with MC data to let them decode it for playback.

At this moment only my old Samsung Note 3 can do this with the Samsung stock player app.

Dear friend,

The M6 could play FLAC but not DTS. And it could support USB audio function.

Best regards

Is it possible to cast music from this device? I can’t figure out to cast with poweramp, deezer and spotify to my google speakers

You won't be able to cast from poweramp or deezer as far as I know. With Spotify if you load a little app onto your mobile phone (from the play store) called HiFy, then it links to Spotify on the M6 and should enable you to cast spotify from the M6 to google speakers and some other devices(from settings, other devices). If you find it works then there is a very small fee to license it. Hope it works for you.

I use M6 for Amazon HD and it plays all tracks at the correct Bit rate and frequency.

My question would be whether you can download music to the SD card on the M6 for offline play.
