Speaking of LDAC why does the M6 seem to be set to 44.1khz/16bit when using it rather than 96khz/24bit?

It's not a massive issue considering most of my stuff is CD quality anyway, but just curious as my phone defaults to 96khz with LDAC without going into the developer options to change it.

I have been using the M6 to connect to Asset upnp server running on Ubuntu and i must say it is working better, much better than on the previous fw. Good job @FiiO

Hi

I too tried and tried again, with no success.

It was only after I contacted poweramp themselves via the email address i gave above, ie poweramp.maxmpz@gmail.com, and gave a full account of my problem, that they did their "thing" their side and it allowed the code I had received from them to begin with via email, to work.

I too paid by paypal.

I too was about to raise merry hell about them "stealing my money"

I would suggest you email poweramp and you'll likely get resolution.

Have you mailed them with the problem?

For reference, here's a copy of the mail I sent them.

Sorry I can't be more explicit than that!

Sending the email to poweramp.maxmpz@gmail.com was decisive!
Thanks!

Did anyone manage to successfully run neutron music full version?

Yep - involved side-loading Neutron, paying for the app (direct to Neutron - registering an email address), then activating by using the address made to make the purchase. Worth it for the parametric EQ.

Occurs in all formats. Both FLAC and DSD.

Connected to HD USB port.

Dear friend,

Thanks for the kind feedback. We will report to the engineer for checking about that.

Best regards

Does anyone knows what are digital filters mode?
Dear friend,

For your reference: Fast roll-off: Pre and post echoes make powerful sound
Slow roll-off: minimal echo reproduces original sound

Best regards

@FiiO
Any news on the idle power off bug? Posted on your forum

Found another small bug, if using hwa with btr3, changing to ldac codec afterwards results in very low volume. Have to delete btr3 pairing and repair to get ldac volume ok.
Tried stock fiio 1.2 app and the 1.14 app. The 1.14 app is very finicky getting hwa to work, but can control the btr3.

Another tip is to edit the apk`s you install so they don't autostart and use memory in the background. Did that to deezer and the ftp server app I use.

Any USB DAC latency minimizing tips / tricks?

I noticed that these settings help tremendously, but still - there is some tiny lag.

How does one check for and disable autostart on installed apps? There are no options available when viewing an app via Apps > Settings. Only memory and battery used recently is shown.
