How does one check for and disable autostart on installed apps? There are no options available when viewing an app via Apps > Settings. Only memory and battery used recently is shown.
check running services in developer options.
you can use "app cloner" to disable auto start on a apk, then install the cloned one. I think deezer used 30mb at start.

What are the warranty terms for the FIIO M6? I purchased one in June and there are lines of dead pixels that have formed on the screen... Not happy about that at all. I love my M6, but I'd like to get this issue fixed. I bought it off Amazon and I am past the return window. I went to the FIIO website and the links to warranty information are broken and some are in chinese.

If you bought it from Amazon you should contact them. I bought a phone from an Amazon seller, which after a few months got a problem, and eventually got a refund through lack of co-operation from the seller (a major phone manufacturer). So contact Amazon and the seller. If the seller does not co-operate Amazon will have to do something.

ouch, I've read many complaints about this issue. wonder if it will happen on mine

I had the exact same problem. I got a replace from my seller.

When I'm plugged into an external dac via usb from the M6 (using the M6 as a playback source through the external dac) it seems as though the fiio music app is the only app that works in this configuration, tidal (my only other app) does work when playing through the external dac. Is this the norm or is M6 acting buggy?

Try disabling usb audio out on the fiio music app
