Unfortunately it happens to me while playing a single album...almost as if I didn't gapless play enabled (which I do!). Are you using FiiO music or another app? I'm also running on the latest firmware.

What brand of SD card are you using? I've got two 200GB SanDisks in mine - wonder if another brand would have the same issue? Or is it my player?

Thanks - Michael

EDIT: So I seemed to have fixed the issue by ripping from the ISO into one DFF file, and a cue file. Gaps are no longer present!

Just for reference, if somebody else is looking for the same info, I'm running 2 512GB Samsung Evo cards and the clicking only happens in fiio music

Long shot - bit does anyone here or at @FiiO have an idea on how to copy data from Sony Headphone Connect app and the optimization data for Deezer 360 from my Android phone over to the M11?
Dear friend,

Sorry I have no idea about that. Maybe some apps for synchronizing data?

Best regards

The FiiO music app crashes for me fairly regularly , a few times a week.

Everything is on latest versions
Dear friend,

Does the issue happen when there are any certain operation? If the issue still happen, you could contact support@fiio.com about that.

Best regards

What's the state of the Qobuz app & service on the M11 these days. Working well? I'm thinking about switching from Tidal, both because the Tidal app has been flaky since its last update, and because the music I seek may be more in line with Qobuz' library.

@FiiO
the BT LDAC issue is still open - since existing of this device! LDAC quality has many micro gaps while music playing, LDAC standard is a little bit better, but in this case you can also hear the gaps while music playing and NO! it is NOT my music! ALL files are playing fine at different devices, exl. the FiiO devices!

Just SBC is working without any gaps @M11 -> tested with different apps / settings....
Headphones Sony WH-1000XM3

... it seems the BT chip / SoC is the problem, the issue is ONLY existing at FiiO devices! M7 --> M9 -> M11!

Why are you not check this issue?

Can anyone help please?

I've installed the windows DAC drivers (the latest from the website) to enable me to use the M11 in DAC mode with my PC.

I select USB DAC mode from the settings and plug into the pc. The M11 is recognised but everything I play is showing as 32bit 48Khz on the M11 despite it showing correctly in Foobar2000. I've also tried VLC with the same results.

I've tried 16bit/44.1 and 24bit/192 flac files.

Looking under the settings on the pc lists all the options that the DAC can play and I can manually select one, but I thought it was supposed to automatically do that.

I've looked and tried various settings on the M11 but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

I had same problem. What I did was going to audio properties of M11 on PC and changing sample rate to 384/32. You may also select 192/24. For some reason Fioo will always say it uses 32 bit no matter what bitrate you select.

I know this worked before but my M11 while outputting music via the digital coaxial cable stops sending data to an external DAC when a USB C cable is connected for charging

So can someone confirm if the coaxial output can be used while the M11 is charging

Thanks

Thanks - I think I tried that but then everything got upsampled. Is that what you find?

What I want is to have everything play at it's native resolution.

In the FiiO player, do people hear a slight click when a track is selected, especially when changing to different sampling rate tracks ( never heard it with Poweramp) ?

Does their player crash more than it would be expected to ?

Hi. I hear that soft click every time before a song starts playing ever since owning my M11 (August 2019)
Never had a crash, though.
