I’m not sure this will work but it can using BT. Imo easier. No cables.

In the FiiO player, do people hear a slight click when a track is selected, especially when changing to different sampling rate tracks ( never heard it with Poweramp) ?

Does their player crash more than it would be expected to ?

Yes - absolutely hear the click when switching between sampling rates! And yes - I find it crashes semi-regularly as well.

Eq is mostly useless anyway on the Fiio App. If I need Eq I use Neutron player. But Fiio App sounds best of anything I have used and has great battery life. Poweramp is good stuff too. No problems with it either.

Mostly used Poweramp. But have started using the FiiO app with latest firmware update as EQ has improved slightly

Fiio has a horrendous track record with firmware upgrades. Was pleased to find the M11 pretty much perfect out of the box for my needs so will never upgrade the firmware.

You'd need to use the Camera Connection Kit or similar if it is to work. If that is how you are going to use it, why not just get a Q5S instead?

Does anyone know where I can purchase a longer TRRS (4 pole) digital coaxial cable? I have the FIIO one but I need to have a longer one ...

Someone would have to make it by hand, as it is unique. I know that Moon Audio makes them. I bought a length of the wire directly from Moon Audio (when they were selling it for DIY, not sure if they still do) and made my own.

don’t get me wrong, I would buy another in a second and it may not be widespread ( plus Poweramp never crashes )
