Hmm, thTs interesting. I listen to the same, which is why I switched to the Meze. The bass is deeper and more potent, blending well with those genres. I hated the new earpads and switched to the originals as soon as I got mine.
Did you try other wifi and check again? Make sure that the M11 and the mobile phone are in same Wifi.
Does the same issue happen when connecting to other Bluetooth headphone? If not, try to forget the 100XM3 in the M11 and reconnect again?
I am happy with the M11, one or two little "gripes" the album art is not all displayed and I am using the card I used in a previous other make player where it all displayed correctly.
As far as I know the M15/M15 Pro will share the same SoC as the M11/Pro, so no Google Play. If that’s what makes the biggest difference for you, look elsewhere. The M11/Pro have already far surpassed the X7ii interface, speed, usability and screen quality, and the M11 Pro will more than likely surpass its SQ too.
For those looking for a cool carry case for the M11/Pro, especially for traveling with IEMs and other accessories, I found this on Amazon (received today):
Ignore the fact that it’s marketed for a Wahl shaver. I did all my measurements in advance. Can you get more perfect?
Don’t go and spend $40 on a “hifi” case from DD that’s a tight fit (you can’t get a protective IEM case inside the DD, for example), when you can get this beautifully made, hard shell, soft lined case with a carry handle for the sun total of ~$10!
I always run my albums through mediaMonkey to get album art and tag it.
With it you change artwork properties to 'Front' for each albums track.
Abit of a chore to go through all your albums and fix, but it sure looks good when it works.
It also has an API where it connects to Discogs and downloads the artwork into the albums folder.

Edited to add
You install the software on a PC. Unfortunately on Android it needs Google play services to run on the M11.
I can only recommend manually finding albums and correcting titles in the attached pictures. Or, before downloading a new album to a memory card, add a cover using the "Metatogger" application (though it does not work with DSD / wav formats)
Sorry but does that mean that when you save the info to your micro card it isn’t recognised on the M11? Or just that you cannot do it directly to the M11?
